The culture medium was composed of different initial concentrations of glucose or sucrose dissolved in 0.4\% extract of plain green tea. Parameters of the culture media (titratable acidity, substrate conversion degree etc.) were monitored daily for 20 days of cultivation. The BC pellicles produced on different carbon sources were characterized in terms of biomass yield, crystallinity and morphology by field emission scanning electron microscopy (FE-SEM), atomic force microscopy and X-ray diffraction. Our results showed that Medusomyces gisevii had higher BC yields in media with sugar concentrations close to 10 g L-1 after a 18-20 days incubation period. Glucose in general lead to a higher BC yield (173 g L-1) compared to sucrose (163.5 g L-1). The BC crystallinity degree and surface roughness were higher in the samples synthetized from sucrose. Obtained FE-SEM micrographs show that the BC pellicles synthesized in the sucrose media contained densely packed tangles of cellulose fibrils whereas the BC produced in the glucose media displayed rather linear geometry of the BC fibrils without noticeable aggregates.}, language = {en} } @inproceedings{DielmannVelden2003, author = {Dielmann, Klaus-Peter and Velden, Alwin van der}, title = {Virtuelle Kraftwerke - Stand der Technik}, year = {2003}, abstract = {Ausgangslage, Funktionsprinzip des virtuellen Kraftwerkes, Energiemanagementsysteme (EMS), Einsatzgebiete, Anlagesysteme eines VKW's, Einsatzbereich der verschiedenen dezentralen Energieanlagen, Vorteile des virtuellen Kraftwerkes, Auswirkungen auf das elektrische Netz, Wirtschaftliche Aspekte, Beispielprojekte}, language = {de} } @inproceedings{DielmannSchieke2000, author = {Dielmann, Klaus-Peter and Schieke, Wolf}, title = {Mikrogasturbinen - Aufbau und Anwendungen}, year = {2000}, abstract = {Mikrogasturbinen: Funktion, Aufbau, Hersteller, Bauformen, Rekuperatorparameter, Besonderheit der Konstruktion, Regelung, Regelbarkeit, Vergleich mit anderen Systemen, Wirkungs- und Nutzungsgrade, Schadstoffemissionen, Nutzung in Kraft-W{\"a}rme-Kopplung, Kraft-W{\"a}rme-K{\"a}lte-Kopplung}, subject = {Gasturbine}, language = {de} } @inproceedings{DielmannPeters2002, author = {Dielmann, Klaus-Peter and Peters, Bernhard}, title = {Micro Turbine Using Different Gases and Liquid Fuels}, year = {2002}, abstract = {Micro turbine using different gases and liquid fuels}, subject = {Gasturbine}, language = {en} } @inproceedings{DielmannCudina2003, author = {Dielmann, Klaus-Peter and Cudina, Boris}, title = {Emissionsrechtehandel in Europa - ein neues Instrument f{\"u}r den Umweltschutz}, year = {2003}, abstract = {Funktionsprinzip Emissionsrechtehandel, Betroffene Anlagen und Branchen, Erstverteilung der Emissionsrechte, Bereits erbrachte Emissionsreduktionen (early actions), Ausstieg von betroffenen Unternehmen (opt-out), Teilnahme von nicht betroffenen Unternehmen, Einsatz von Biobrennstoffen, Erfassung und Dokumentation der Emissionen}, subject = {Umweltzertifikathandel}, language = {de} } @article{DickWagnerRoeth2005, author = {Dick, Angela and Wagner, Manfred and R{\"o}th, Thilo}, title = {Capro Automotive Group FH Aachen}, year = {2005}, abstract = {Design- und Karosseriebaustudenten der FH Aachen entwickeln gemeinsam mit externen Fachleuten unter Einsatz virtueller Entwicklungswerkzeuge ein Konzept f{\"u}r einen Sportwagen}, subject = {Karosseriebau}, language = {de} } @inproceedings{DarvenizaFlisowskiKernetal.2002, author = {Darveniza, M. and Flisowski, Z. and Kern, Alexander and Landers, E.-U. and LoPiparo, G. and Mazzetti, C. and Rousseau, A. and Sherlock, J.}, title = {Application problems of the probabilistic approach to the assessment of risk for structures and services}, year = {2002}, abstract = {The paper deals with the development of the probabilistic approach to the assessment of risk due to lightning. The focus is laid on Jupiter's moon Europa and Saturn's moon Enceladus because they have the highest potential for such missions in the near future. Technologically, such missions are extremely challenging. Clean sampling is achieved with a hollow ice screw (as it is used in mountaineering) at the tip of the probe. Maneuverability is achieved with a differentially heated melting head.
