  abstract  = {In this chapter, the key technologies and the instrumentation required for the subsurface exploration of ocean worlds are discussed. The focus is laid on Jupiter's moon Europa and Saturn's moon Enceladus because they have the highest potential for such missions in the near future. The exploration of their oceans requires landing on the surface, penetrating the thick ice shell with an ice-penetrating probe, and probably diving with an underwater vehicle through dozens of kilometers of water to the ocean floor, to have the chance to find life, if it exists. Technologically, such missions are extremely challenging. The required key technologies include power generation, communications, pressure resistance, radiation hardness, corrosion protection, navigation, miniaturization, autonomy, and sterilization and cleaning. Simpler mission concepts involve impactors and penetrators or - in the case of Enceladus - plume-fly-through missions.},

  abstract  = {Animal experiments and preliminary results in humans have indicated alterations of hippocampal muscarinic acetylcholine receptors (mAChR) in temporal lobe epilepsy. Patients with temporal lobe epilepsy often present with a reduction in hippocampal volume. The aim of this study was to investigate the influence of hippocampal atrophy on the quantification of mAChR with single photon emission tomography (SPET) in patients with temporal lobe epilepsy. Cerebral uptake of the muscarinic cholinergic antagonist [123I]4-iododexetimide (IDex) was investigated by SPET in patients suffering from temporal lobe epilepsy of unilateral (n=6) or predominantly unilateral (n=1) onset. Regions of interest were drawn on co-registered magnetic resonance images. Hippocampal volume was determined in these regions and was used to correct the SPET results for partial volume effects. A ratio of hippocampal IDex binding on the affected side to that on the unaffected side was used to detect changes in muscarinic cholinergic receptor density. Before partial volume correction a decrease in hippocampal IDex binding on the focus side was found in each patient. After partial volume no convincing differences remained. Our results indicate that the reduction in hippocampal IDex binding in patients with epilepsy is due to a decrease in hippocampal volume rather than to a decrease in receptor concentration.},

  abstract  = {Single-photon emission tomography (SPET) with the amino acid analogue l-3-[123I]iodo-α-methyl tyrosine (IMT) is helpful in the diagnosis and monitoring of cerebral gliomas. Radiolabelled amino acids seem to reflect tumour infiltration more specifically than conventional methods like magnetic resonance imaging and computed tomography. Automatic tumour delineation based on maximal tumour uptake may cause an overestimation of mean tumour uptake and an underestimation of tumour extension in tumours with circumscribed peaks. The aim of this study was to develop a program for tumour delineation and calculation of mean tumour uptake which takes into account the mean background activity and is thus optimised to the problem of tumour definition in IMT SPET. Using the frequency distribution of pixel intensities of the tomograms a program was developed which automatically detects a reference brain region and draws an isocontour region around the tumour taking into account mean brain radioactivity. Tumour area and tumour/brain ratios were calculated. A three-compartment phantom was simulated to test the program. The program was applied to IMT SPET studies of 20 patients with cerebral gliomas and was compared to the results of manual analysis by three different investigators. Activity ratios and chamber extension of the phantom were correctly calculated by the automatic analysis. A method based on image maxima alone failed to determine chamber extension correctly. Manual region of interest analysis in patient studies resulted in a mean inter-observer standard deviation of 8.7\%±6.1\% (range 2.7\%-25.0\%). The mean value of the results of the manual analysis showed a significant correlation to the results of the automatic analysis (r = 0.91, P<0.0001 for the uptake ratio; r = 0.87, P<0.0001 for the tumour area). We conclude that the algorithm proposed simplifies the calculation of uptake ratios and may be used for observer-independent evaluation of IMT SPET studies. Three-dimensional tumour recognition and transfer to co-registered morphological images based on this program may be useful for the planning of surgical and radiation treatment.},

  abstract  = {In the year 2000 a direct lightning strike to the hybridsystem without power mains connection VATALI on the Greek island Crete results in the destruction and damage of some mechanical and electrical components. The hybrid-system VATALI was not lightning protected at that time. The hardware damage costs are approx. 60,000 €. The exposed site of the hybrid-system on top of a mountain was and still is the reason for a high risk of lightning strikes. Also in the future further lightning strikes have to be taken into consideration. In the paper a fundamental lightning protection design concept for renewable energy hybrid-systems without power mains connection and protection measures against direct strikes and overvoltages are shown in detail. The design concept was realized exemplarily for the hybrid-system VATALI. The hardware costs for the protection measures were about 15,000 €. About 50\% of the costs are due to protection measures against direct strikes, 50\% are due to overvoltage protection. Future extensions, new installations, or modifications have to be included into the lightning protection design concept of the hybrid-system.},

J{\"u}lich durchgef{\"u}hrtes Forschungsprojekt „Blitzschutz f{\"u}r netz-autarke Hybridanlagen" machte es m{\"o}glich, sich mit dem Blitzschutz speziell solcher Anlagen n{\"a}her zu besch{\"a}ftigen. Vermehrt bekannt gewordene Schadensf{\"a}lle an nicht netz-gekoppelten Hybridanlagen waren der Ausl{\"o}ser, den Schutz zu {\"u}berdenken. Definiertes Ziel war es, f{\"u}r netz-autarke energietechnische Anlagen ein Konzept zum Schutz vor Blitzeinwirkungen zu erstellen. Diese Anlagen bestehen {\"u}blicherweise aus einer oder mehreren Photovoltaikanlagen, ggf. auch Solarthermieanlagen und einem oder mehreren kleineren Windgeneratoren (sie werden deshalb auch als Hybridanlagen bezeichnet). Zur Erh{\"o}hung der Versorgungssicherheit kann noch ein Dieselaggregat dazukommen. Hybridanlagen werden vor allem in Gebieten mit sehr schlechter {\"o}ffentlicher Energieversorgung eingesetzt, d.h. insbesondere in relativ d{\"u}nn bewohnten Gebieten und in Entwicklungsl{\"a}ndern. Dem Blitzschutz von Hybridanlagen kommt dabei eine steigende Bedeutung zu. Besonderes Augenmerk in dem genannten Forschungsprojekt sollte dabei auf die technisch/wirtschaftliche Ausgewogenheit des Schutzes gelegt werden: • die Schutzmaßnahmen sollen nur in solchen F{\"a}llen eingesetzt werden, wo dies als Ergebnis von Risikoanalysen sinnvoll erscheint; • f{\"u}r typische netz-autarke Hybridanlagen sollen die Schutzmaßnahmen ohne deutliche Verteuerung realisierbar sein (es soll also kein absoluter Schutz realisiert werden; ggf. soll lediglich der auftretende Schaden soweit m{\"o}glich minimiert werden). Dazu wurde in einem ersten Schritt zun{\"a}chst eine Aufnahme des Iststandes einiger typischer netz-autarker Hybridanlagen und deren einzelnen Komponenten durchgef{\"u}hrt. Aufgrund dessen wurde eine umfassende Risikoanalyse zur Blitzbedrohung dieser Anlagen auf der Basis von VDE V 0185 Teil 2:2002-11 [1] erstellt. Die Ergebnisse m{\"u}ndeten in ein technisch/wirtschaftlich ausgewogenes Konzept f{\"u}r den Anlagen- Blitzschutz (d.h. insbesondere dem Schutz vor direkten Blitzeinschl{\"a}gen und deren unmittelbaren Auswirkungen) nach VDE V 0185 Teil 3:2002-11 [2] und f{\"u}r den Elektronik-Blitzschutz (d.h. f{\"u}r den Schutz vor {\"U}berspannungen durch direkte, insbesondere aber auch indirekte Blitzeinschl{\"a}ge) nach VDE V 0185 Teil 4:2002-11 [3]. Aufgrund der gesammelten Ergebnisse konnten dabei allgemeine Empfehlungen f{\"u}r den {\"A}ußeren und Inneren Blitzschutz von regenerativen Energieerzeugungssystemen erstellt werden. Diese sollen in Schulungen einm{\"u}nden, die f{\"u}r Hersteller und Betreiber von Hybridanlagen angeboten werden. Durch die Anwendung wird der Schutz der Anlagen vor Blitzeinwirkung und elektromagnetischen St{\"o}rungen verbessert, was sich in einer reduzierten Ausfallwahrscheinlichkeit bzw. erh{\"o}hten Verf{\"u}gbarkeit wiederspiegelt. An einigen ausgew{\"a}hlten Anlagen werden mit Hilfe der im Projekt involvierten Industriepartner die Schutzmaßnahmen realisiert. Hierbei entstanden den Eigent{\"u}mern bzw. Betreibern der Anlagen keine Kosten. In diesem Beitrag werden beispielhaft drei Anlagenprojekte detailliert gezeigt. Es handelt sich dabei um eine Schweinezuchtfarm in Magall{\´o}n (Spanien, Zaragozza), das bioklimatische Haus (Kreta, Heraklion) und die Tegernseer- H{\"u}tte (Deutschland, Lenggries).},

Der Beitrag stellt ein Verfahren zur Herstellung transparenter durchstr{\"o}mter Geometrien auf der Basis generativ gefertigter Urmodelle vor. Damit k{\"o}nnen beliebig komplexe Innenstr{\"o}mungen optisch analysiert werden. Anhand von zwei Beispielen aus der Medizin, der Modellierung der oberen Atemwege und des Bronchialbaums, wird das Verfahren vorgef{\"u}hrt. Der generative Bauprozess mittels 3D-Printing wird beschrieben und die Abformung in transparentem Silikon gezeigt. Schließlich werden beispielhaft der Messaufbau und Ergebnisse der Anwendung vorgestellt. Das Verfahren bildet die Grundlage f{\"u}r die Analyse und Berechnung komplexer Innenstr{\"o}mungen und tr{\"a}gt somit zur Verbesserung zahlreicher technischer Anwendungen bei.},

  abstract  = {This study investigates unsteady characteristics of the wake behind a 28\%-scale car model in a wind tunnel using highspeed planar particle image velocimetry (PIV). The car model is based on a hatchback passenger car that is known to have relatively high fluctuations in its aerodynamic loads. This study primarily focuses on the lateral motion of the flow on the horizontal plane to determine the effect of the flow motion on the straight-line stability and the initial steering response of the actual car on a track. This paper first compares the flow fields in the wake behind the above mentioned model obtained using conventional and high-speed planar PIV, with sampling frequencies of 8 Hz and 1 kHz, respectively. Large asymmetrically coherent flow structures, which fluctuate at frequencies below 2 Hz, are observed in the results of highspeed PIV measurements, whereas conventional PIV is unable to capture these features of the flow owing to aliasing. This flow pattern with a laterally swaying motion is represented by opposite signs of cross-correlation coefficients of streamwise velocity fluctuations for the two sides of the car model. Effects of two aerodynamic devices that are known to reduce the fluctuation levels of the aerodynamic loads are then extensively investigated. The correlation analyses reveal that these devices indeed reduce the fluctuation levels of the flow and the correlation values around the rear combination-lamp, but it is found that the effects of these devices are different around the c-pillar.},

  abstract  = {Operational Modal Analysis (OMA) is a promising candidate for flutter testing and Structural Health Monitoring (SHM) of aircraft wings that are passively excited by wind loads. However, no studies have been published where OMA is tested in transonic flows, which is the dominant condition for large civil aircraft and is characterized by complex and unique aerodynamic phenomena. We use data from the HIRENASD large-scale wind tunnel experiment to automatically extract modal parameters from an ambiently excited wing operated in the transonic regime using two OMA methods: Stochastic Subspace Identification (SSI) and Frequency Domain Decomposition (FDD). The system response is evaluated based on accelerometer measurements. The excitation is investigated from surface pressure measurements. The forcing function is shown to be non-white, non-stationary and contaminated by narrow-banded transonic disturbances. All these properties violate fundamental OMA assumptions about the forcing function. Despite this, all physical modes in the investigated frequency range were successfully identified, and in addition transonic pressure waves were identified as physical modes as well. The SSI method showed superior identification capabilities for the investigated case. The investigation shows that complex transonic flows can interfere with OMA. This can make existing approaches for modal tracking unsuitable for their application to aircraft wings operated in the transonic flight regime. Approaches to separate the true physical modes from the transonic disturbances are discussed.},

  abstract  = {Wind-induced operational variability is one of the major challenges for structural health monitoring of slender engineering structures like aircraft wings or wind turbine blades. Damage sensitive features often show an even bigger sensitivity to operational variability. In this study a composite cantilever was subjected to multiple mass configurations, velocities and angles of attack in a controlled wind tunnel environment. A small-scale impact damage was introduced to the specimen and the structural response measurements were repeated. The proposed damage detection methodology is based on automated operational modal analysis. A novel baseline preparation procedure is described that reduces the amount of user interaction to the provision of a single consistency threshold. The procedure starts with an indeterminate number of operational modal analysis identifications from a large number of datasets and returns a complete baseline matrix of natural frequencies and damping ratios that is suitable for subsequent anomaly detection. Mahalanobis distance-based anomaly detection is then applied to successfully detect the damage under varying severities of operational variability and with various degrees of knowledge about the present operational conditions. The damage detection capabilities of the proposed methodology were found to be excellent under varying velocities and angles of attack. Damage detection was less successful under joint mass and wind variability but could be significantly improved through the provision of the currently encountered operational conditions.},

  abstract  = {The constitutive androstane receptor (CAR) and the pregnane X receptor (PXR) are closely related nuclear receptors involved in drug metabolism and play important roles in the mechanism of phenobarbital (PB)-induced rodent nongenotoxic hepatocarcinogenesis. Here, we have used a humanized CAR/PXR mouse model to examine potential species differences in receptor-dependent mechanisms underlying liver tissue molecular responses to PB. Early and late transcriptomic responses to sustained PB exposure were investigated in liver tissue from double knock-out CAR and PXR (CARᴷᴼ-PXRᴷᴼ), double humanized CAR and PXR (CARʰ-PXRʰ), and wild-type C57BL/6 mice. Wild-type and CARʰ-PXRʰ mouse livers exhibited temporally and quantitatively similar transcriptional responses during 91 days of PB exposure including the sustained induction of the xenobiotic response gene Cyp2b10, the Wnt signaling inhibitor Wisp1, and noncoding RNA biomarkers from the Dlk1-Dio3 locus. Transient induction of DNA replication (Hells, Mcm6, and Esco2) and mitotic genes (Ccnb2, Cdc20, and Cdk1) and the proliferation-related nuclear antigen Mki67 were observed with peak expression occurring between 1 and 7 days PB exposure. All these transcriptional responses were absent in CARᴷᴼ-PXRᴷᴼ mouse livers and largely reversible in wild-type and CARʰ-PXRʰ mouse livers following 91 days of PB exposure and a subsequent 4-week recovery period. Furthermore, PB-mediated upregulation of the noncoding RNA Meg3, which has recently been associated with cellular pluripotency, exhibited a similar dose response and perivenous hepatocyte-specific localization in both wild-type and CARʰ-PXRʰ mice. Thus, mouse livers coexpressing human CAR and PXR support both the xenobiotic metabolizing and the proliferative transcriptional responses following exposure to PB.},

  abstract  = {Magnetic nanoparticles (MNPs) are used as therapeutic and diagnostic agents for local delivery of heat and image contrast enhancement in diseased tissue. Besides magnetization, the most important parameter that determines their performance for these applications is their magnetic relaxation, which can be affected when MNPs immobilize and agglomerate inside tissues. In this letter, we investigate different MNP agglomeration states for their magnetic relaxation properties under excitation in alternating fields and relate this to their heating efficiency and imaging properties. With focus on magnetic fluid hyperthermia, two different trends in MNP heating efficiency are measured: an increase by up to 23\% for agglomerated MNP in suspension and a decrease by up to 28\% for mixed states of agglomerated and immobilized MNP, which indicates that immobilization is the dominant effect. The same comparatively moderate effects are obtained for the signal amplitude in magnetic particle spectroscopy.},

  abstract  = {As researchers continue to seek the expansion of the material base for additive manufacturing, there is a need to focus attention on the Ni-Cu group of alloys which conventionally has wide industrial applications. In this work, the G-NiCu30Nb casting alloy, a variant of the Monel family of alloys with Nb and high Si content is, for the first time, processed via the laser powder bed fusion process (LPBF). Being novel to the LPBF processes, optimum LPBF parameters were determined, and hardness and tensile tests were performed in as-built conditions and after heat treatment at 1000 °C. Microstructures of the as-cast and the as-built condition were compared. Highly dense samples (99.8\% density) were achieved after varying hatch distance (80 µm and 140 µm) with scanning speed (550 mm/s-1500 mm/s). There was no significant difference in microhardness between varied hatch distance print sets. Microhardness of the as-built condition (247 HV0.2) exceeded the as-cast microhardness (179 HV0.2.). Tensile specimens built in vertical (V) and horizontal (H) orientations revealed degrees of anisotropy and were superior to conventionally reported figures. Post heat treatment increased ductility from 20\% to 31\% (V), as well as from 16\% to 25\% (H), while ultimate tensile strength (UTS) and yield strength (YS) were considerably reduced.},

  abstract  = {It is investigated whether a nonrotating lifting fan remaining uncovered during cruise flight, as opposed to being covered by a shutter system, can be realized with limited additional drag and loss of lift during cruise flight. A wind-tunnel study of a wing-embedded lifting fan has been conducted at the Side Wind Test Facility G{\"o}ttingen of DLR, German Aerospace Center in G{\"o}ttingen using force, pressure, and stereoscopic particle image velocimetry techniques. The study showed that a step on the lower side of the wing in front of the lifting fan duct increases the lift-to-drag ratio of the whole model by up to 25\% for all positive angles of attack. Different sizes and inclinations of the step had limited influence on the surface pressure distribution. The data indicate that these parameters can be optimized to maximize the lift-to-drag ratio. A doubling of the curvature radius of the lifting fan duct inlet lip on the upper side of the wing affected the lift-to-drag ratio by less than 1\%. The lifting fan duct inlet curvature can therefore be optimized to maximize the vertical fan thrust of the rotating lifting fan during hovering without affecting the cruise flight performance with a nonrotating fan.},

Here, the authors present an alternative anthropocentric perspective that highlights the potential and main challenges of extending the concept of Digital Shadows to humans. Following future research methodology, three prospections that illustrate use cases for Human Digital Shadows across organizational and hierarchical levels are developed: human-robot collaboration for manual work, decision support and work organization, as well as human resource management. Potentials and challenges are identified using separate SWOT analyses for the three prospections and common themes are emphasized in a concluding discussion.},

Propeller sweep and high aspect ratios increase elasticity and coupling of structural mechanics and aerodynamics, affecting the propeller performance and noise. Therefore, this paper analyzes the influence of elasticity on forward-swept, backward-swept, and unswept propellers in hover conditions. A reduced-order blade element momentum approach is coupled with a one-dimensional Timoshenko beam theory and Farassat's formulation 1A. The results of the aeroelastic simulation are used as input for the aeroacoustic calculation. The analysis shows that elasticity influences noise radiation because thickness and loading noise respond differently to deformations. In the case of the backward-swept propeller, the location of the maximum sound pressure level shifts forward by 0.5 °, while in the case of the forward-swept propeller, it shifts backward by 0.5 °. Therefore, aeroacoustic optimization requires the consideration of propeller deformation.},

  abstract  = {Dynamic loads significantly impact the structural design of propeller blades due to fatigue and static strength. Since propellers are elastic structures, deformations and aerodynamic loads are coupled. In the past, propeller manufacturers established procedures to determine unsteady aerodynamic loads and the structural response with analytical steady-state calculations. According to the approach, aeroelastic coupling primarily consists of torsional deformations. They neglect bending deformations, deformation velocities, and inertia terms. This paper validates the assumptions above for a General Aviation propeller and a lift propeller for urban air mobility or large cargo drones. Fully coupled reduced-order simulations determine the dynamic loads in the time domain. A quasi-steady blade element momentum approach transfers loads to one-dimensional finite beam elements. The simulation results are in relatively good agreement with the analytical method for the General Aviation propeller but show increasing errors for the slender lift propeller. The analytical approach is modified to consider the induced velocities. Still, inertia and velocity proportional terms play a significant role for the lift propeller due to increased elasticity. The assumption that only torsional deformations significantly impact the dynamic loads of propellers is not valid. Adequate determination of dynamic loads of such designs requires coupled aeroelastic simulations or advanced analytical procedures.},

Based on the four use cases of decision support systems, knowledge sharing in global production networks, human-robot collaboration, and monitoring employee workload, we derive recommendations for interface design and enhancing workers' capabilities.   abstract  = {This paper compares several blade element theory (BET) method-based propeller simulation tools, including an evaluation against static propeller ground tests and high-fidelity Reynolds-Average Navier Stokes (RANS) simulations. Two proprietary propeller geometries for paraglider applications are analysed in static and flight conditions. The RANS simulations are validated with the static test data and used as a reference for comparing the BET in flight conditions. The comparison includes the analysis of varying 2D aerodynamic airfoil parameters and different induced velocity calculation methods. The evaluation of the BET propeller simulation tools shows the strength of the BET tools compared to RANS simulations. The RANS simulations underpredict static experimental data within 10\% relative error, while appropriate BET tools overpredict the RANS results by 15-20\% relative error. A variation in 2D aerodynamic data depicts the need for highly accurate 2D data for accurate BET results. The nonlinear BET coupled with XFOIL for the 2D aerodynamic data matches best with RANS in static operation and flight conditions. The novel BET tool PropCODE combines both approaches and offers further correction models for highly accurate static and flight condition results.},

Identifizierte Schl{\"u}sselakteure sind unter anderem traditionelle Industrieunternehmen, Kommunen und Telekommunikationsunternehmen. Letztere sorgen mit der Bereitstellung von Konnektivit{\"a}t daf{\"u}r, dass kleine Ger{\"a}te mit winzigen Batterien nahezu {\"u}berall und direkt an das Internet angebunden werden k{\"o}nnen. Es sind schon viele IoT-Anwendungsf{\"a}lle auf dem Markt, die eine Vereinfachung f{\"u}r Endkunden darstellen, wie beispielsweise Philips Hue Tap. Neben Gesch{\"a}ftsmodellen basierend auf Konnektivit{\"a}t besteht ein großes Potenzial f{\"u}r informationsgetriebene Gesch{\"a}ftsmodelle, die bestehende Gesch{\"a}ftsmodelle unterst{\"u}tzen sowie weiterentwickeln k{\"o}nnen. Bei den Implementierungsans{\"a}tzen wird die Diskussion aktuell insbesondere durch Robotic Process Automation (RPA) und Chatbots gepr{\"a}gt. Beide Ans{\"a}tze verfolgen das gemeinsame Ziel einer 1:1-Automatisierung von menschlichen Handlungen und dadurch ein direktes Ersetzen von Mitarbeitern durch Maschinen. Bei RPA werden Prozesse durch Softwareroboter erlernt und automatisiert ausgef{\"u}hrt. Dabei emulieren RPA-Roboter die Eingaben auf der bestehenden Pr{\"a}sentationsschicht, so dass keine {\"A}nderungen an vorhandenen Anwendungssystemen notwendig sind. Am Markt werden bereits unterschiedliche RPA-L{\"o}sungen als Softwareprodukte angeboten. Durch Chatbots werden Ein- und Ausgaben von Anwendungssystemen {\"u}ber nat{\"u}rliche Sprache realisiert. Dadurch ist die Automatisierung von unternehmensexterner Kommunikation (z. B. mit Kunden) aber auch von unternehmensinternen Assistenzt{\"a}tigkeiten m{\"o}glich.   abstract  = {The benefits of robotic process automation (RPA) are highly related to the usage of commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) software products that can be easily implemented and customized by business units. But, how to find the best fitting RPA product for a specific situation that creates the expected benefits? This question is related to the general area of software evaluation and selection. In the face of more than 75 RPA products currently on the market, guidance considering those specifics is required. Therefore, this chapter proposes a criteria-based selection method specifically for RPA. The method includes a quantitative evaluation of costs and benefits as well as a qualitative utility analysis based on functional criteria. By using the visualization of financial implications (VOFI) method, an application-oriented structure is provided that opposes the total cost of ownership to the time savings times salary (TSTS). For the utility analysis a detailed list of functional criteria for RPA is offered. The whole method is based on a multi-vocal review of scientific and non-scholarly literature including publications by business practitioners, consultants, and vendors. The application of the method is illustrated by a concrete RPA example. The illustrated structures, templates, and criteria can be directly utilized by practitioners in their real-life RPA implementations. In addition, a normative decision process for selecting RPA alternatives is proposed before the chapter closes with a discussion and outlook.},

Zunehmend dr{\"a}ngen auch Ger{\"a}te und Dienste in den Markt, die eigenst{\"a}ndig {\"u}ber das Internet kommunizieren. Dadurch k{\"o}nnen diese Ger{\"a}te und Dienste mit neuartigen KI-basierten Diensten verbessert werden. Solche Dienste k{\"o}nnen die Art und Weise beeinflussen, wie Kunden kommerzielle Entscheidungen treffen und somit das Kundenerlebnis maßgeblich ver{\"a}ndern. Der Einfluss von KI auf kommerzielle Interaktionen wurde bisher noch nicht umfassend untersucht. Basierend auf einem Framework, welches einen ersten {\"U}berblick {\"u}ber die Effekte von KI auf kommerzielle Interaktionen gibt, wird in diesem Kapitel der Einfluss von KI auf Customer Journeys am konkreten Anwendungsfall des intelligenten Parkens analysiert. Forschende k{\"o}nnen heute an ihren Hochschulen bzw. Wissenschaftseinrichtungen auf ein breites Angebot interner IT-Dienstleistungen zur{\"u}ckgreifen, das auch kooperative IT-Dienste umfasst, die von mehreren Institutionen in Zusammenarbeit bereitgestellt werden. Außerhalb der eigenen Organisation und des weiteren Verbunds hat sich im Internet zudem ein breites externes Angebot an innovativen, h{\"a}ufig kostenlos nutzbaren Onlinediensten entwickelt. Neben horizontalen Onlinediensten, die sich prinzipiell an jeden Internetnutzer richten (bspw. Dropbox, Twitter, WhatsApp), nimmt auch die Zahl von vertikalen Diensten f{\"u}r wissenschaftliche bzw. Forschungszwecke immer weiter zu (bspw. GoogleScholar, ResearchGate, figshare). F{\"u}r Forschende er{\"o}ffnen sich damit vielf{\"a}ltige neue M{\"o}glichkeiten, ihren individuellen Forschungsprozess durch digitale Werkzeuge zu verbessern. Aufgrund rechtlicher, technischer und personeller Restriktionen k{\"o}nnen jedoch interne Dienstleister bei der Identifizierung, Auswahl und Nutzung externer Onlinedienste nur wenig Unterst{\"u}tzung leisten. Aus einer serviceorientierten Perspektive stehen Forschende zunehmend vor dem Problem, wie sich heterogene IT-Dienste interner und externer Anbieter in den eigenen Forschungsprozess integrieren lassen. Prim{\"a}re Ziele des IoT sind die Steuerung physischer Gegen-st{\"a}nde aus der Distanz und das Erfassen von Informationen aus dem Umfeld dieser Gegenst{\"a}nde. Welche neuen Gesch{\"a}fts-bzw. Partnermodelle entstehen durch die gemeinsame Nutzung von IoT-Daten und Big-Data-Technologien und welcher qualitative Mehrwert wird dadurch geschaffen? Als Antwort wird in diesem Beitrag ein Bewertungsrahmen zur qualitativen Wertsch{\"o}pfungsanalyse von IoT vorgeschlagen. Anhand dieses Bewertungsrahmens wird ein Anwendungsfall untersucht, der in anonymisierter Form an konkrete Praxisprojekte angelehnt ist. Dies verlangt von Betreibern kritischer Infrastrukturen, angemessene Mindeststandards f{\"u}r organisatorische und technische Sicherheit zu implementieren, um den Betrieb und die Verf{\"u}gbarkeit dieser Infrastruktur zu gew{\"a}hrleisten. Telekommunikationsunternehmen sind einerseits von diesem Gesetz in besonderem Maße betroffen und verf{\"u}gen andererseits mit dem Rahmenwerk enhanced Telecom Operations Map (eTOM) {\"u}ber ein international anerkanntes Referenzmodell zur Gestaltung von Gesch{\"a}ftsprozessen in dieser Branche. Mithilfe von Informations- und Kommunikationstechnologien entsteht hieraus das Internet der Dinge (Internet of Things, IoT). Vor einem Jahr wurde mit Narrowband Internet of Things (NB-IoT) eine Technologie die es erm{\"o}glicht, Hardwarekomponenten energieeffizient und unmittelbar {\"u}ber das Mobilfunknetz zu vernetzen. Gegenst{\"a}nde werden dadurch {\"u}ber große Reichweiten eigenst{\"a}ndig kommunikationsf{\"a}hig. Das IoT steht mit NB-IoT vor einem gestiegenen Nutzenpotenzial, da eine zunehmende Anzahl miteinander verbundener Gegenst{\"a}nde und der Austausch gr{\"o}ßerer Datenmengen realisierbar sind. Damit sind aus wirtschaftlicher Sicht neue, innovative Anwendungsf{\"a}lle des IoT m{\"o}glich, die auch bereits in der Praxis diskutiert werden. In diesem Beitrag wird anhand eines konkreten Anwendungsfalls untersucht, welche neuen Gesch{\"a}fts- bzw. Partnermodelle durch die gemeinsame Nutzung von NB-IoT-Daten und Big Data-Technologien entstehen und welcher qualitative Mehrwert f{\"u}r die an einem Anwendungsfall beteiligten Stakeholder geschaffen wird. Dazu wird - einem konstruktionsorientierten Forschungsansatz folgend - ein Bewertungsrahmen zur qualitativen Wertsch{\"o}pfungsanalyse von NB-IoT entwickelt, der u.a. auf der Schablone nach Cockburn und dem Business Model Canvas basiert. We have realized a prototype by using EBSCO Discovery Service in combination with IBM Watson Explorer and demonstrated the results in real-life research projects.   abstract  = {Die Durchf{\"u}hrung einer systematischen Literaturrecherche ist eine zentrale Kompetenz wissenschaftlichen Arbeitens und bildet daher einen festen Ausbildungsbestandteil von Bachelor- und Masterstudieng{\"a}ngen. In entsprechenden Lehrveranstaltungen werden Studierende zwar mit den grundlegenden Hilfsmitteln zur Suche und Verwaltung von Literatur vertraut gemacht, allerdings werden die Potenziale textanalytischer Methoden und Anwendungssysteme (Text Mining, Text Analytics) dabei zumeist nicht abgedeckt. Folglich werden Datenkompetenzen, die zur systemgest{\"u}tzten Analyse und Erschließung von Literaturdaten erforderlich sind, nicht hinreichend ausgepr{\"a}gt. Um diese Kompetenzl{\"u}cke zu adressieren, ist an der Hochschule Osnabr{\"u}ck eine Lehrveranstaltung konzipiert und projektorientiert umgesetzt worden, die sich insbesondere an Studierende wirtschaftswissenschaftlicher Studieng{\"a}nge richtet. Dieser Beitrag dokumentiert die fachliche sowie technische Ausgestaltung dieser Veranstaltung und zeigt Potenziale f{\"u}r die k{\"u}nftige Weiterentwicklung auf.},

  abstract  = {Glucose oxidase (GOx) is an enzyme frequently used in glucose biosensors. As increased temperatures can enhance the performance of electrochemical sensors, we investigated the impact of temperature pulses on GOx that was drop-coated on flattened Pt microwires. The wires were heated by an alternating current. The sensitivity towards glucose and the temperature stability of GOx was investigated by amperometry. An up to 22-fold increase of sensitivity was observed. Spatially resolved enzyme activity changes were investigated via scanning electrochemical microscopy. The application of short (<100 ms) heat pulses was associated with less thermal inactivation of the immobilized GOx than long-term heating.},

Dadurch werden von dargestellten Personen h{\"a}ufig die k{\"o}rperlichen Aspekte hervorgehoben. Im Gegensatz dazu gilt das weibliche Pendant, der „Female Gaze", als besonders emotionsbetont. Weil Medien einen enormen Einfluss auf gesellschaftliches und individuelles Denken haben, stellt die Dominanz des „Male Gaze" eine Unausgeglichenheit dar, die sich in verschiedenen Bereichen des gesellschaftlichen Lebens widerspiegelt. Deswegen m{\"o}chte dieses Projekt die Medien um die weibliche Sichtweise erweitern und damit die dort transportierten Bilder diverser und ausgewogener machen. Die Fotografie fokussiert sich dabei auf die Gef{\"u}hlswelt der Protagonistin, womit die Betrachter:Innen schrittweise in ihre Position hineinversetzt werden sollen. Mit Augen des Mitgef{\"u}hls und eigenem Sch{\"o}nheitsbegriff l{\"a}sst „Falling in love with the female gaze" endlich auch die Frau zu Wort kommen.},

Our work investigates the application of source camera identification on mobile phones. We present a dataset entirely collected by mobile phones. The dataset contains both still images and videos collected by 67 different smartphones. Part of the images consists in photos of uniform backgrounds, especially collected for the computation of the RSPN. Identifying the source camera given a video is particularly challenging due to the strong video compression. The experiments reported in this paper, show the large variation in performance when testing an highly accurate technique on still images and videos.},

  abstract  = {The aerodynamic performance of propellers strongly depends on their geometry and, consequently, on aeroelastic deformations. Knowledge of the extent of the impact is crucial for overall aircraft performance. An integrated simulation environment for steady aeroelastic propeller simulations is presented. The simulation environment is applied to determine the impact of elastic deformations on the aerodynamic propeller performance. The aerodynamic module includes a blade element momentum approach to calculate aerodynamic loads. The structural module is based on finite beam elements, according to Timoshenko theory, including moderate deflections. Several fixed-pitch propellers with thin-walled cross sections made of both isotropic and non-isotropic materials are investigated. The essential parameters are varied: diameter, disc loading, sweep, material, rotational, and flight velocity. The relative change of thrust between rigid and elastic blades quantifies the impact of propeller elasticity. Swept propellers of large diameters or low disc loadings can decrease the thrust significantly. High flight velocities and low material stiffness amplify this tendency. Performance calculations without consideration of propeller elasticity can lead to decreased efficiency. To avoid cost- and time-intense redesigns, propeller elasticity should be considered for swept planforms and low disc loadings.},
