Referring to the "Deutsche Bluthochdruck Liga" this pathology shows a growing trend in our aging society. In order to find novel pharmacological and probably personalized treatments, we want to present a functional approach to study biomechanical properties of a human aortic vascular model. In this method review we will give an overview of recent studies which were carried out with the CellDrum technology [2] and underline the added value to already existing standard procedures known from the field of physiology. Herein described CellDrum technology is a system to measure functional mechanical properties of cell monolayers and thin tissue constructs in-vitro. Additionally, the CellDrum enables to elucidate the mechanical response of cells to pharmacological drugs, toxins and vasoactive agents. Due to its highly flexible polymer support, cells can also be mechanically stimulated by steady and cyclic biaxial stretching.}, language = {en} } @article{BartellaKamalScholletal.2019, author = {Bartella, Alexander K. and Kamal, Mohammad and Scholl, Ingrid and Schiffer, Stefan and Steegmann, Julius and Ketelsen, Dominik and H{\"o}lzle, Frank W. and Lethaus, Bernd}, title = {Virtual reality in preoperative imaging in maxillofacial surgery: implementation of "the next level"?}, series = {British Journal of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery}, volume = {57}, journal = {British Journal of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery}, number = {7}, publisher = {Elsevier}, address = {Amsterdam}, issn = {0266-4356}, doi = {10.1016/j.bjoms.2019.02.014}, pages = {644 -- 648}, year = {2019}, language = {en} } @article{BaringhausGaigall2019, author = {Baringhaus, Ludwig and Gaigall, Daniel}, title = {On an asymptotic relative efficiency concept based on expected volumes of confidence regions}, series = {Statistics - A Journal of Theoretical and Applied Statistic}, volume = {53}, journal = {Statistics - A Journal of Theoretical and Applied Statistic}, number = {6}, publisher = {Taylor \& Francis}, address = {London}, issn = {1029-4910}, doi = {10.1080/02331888.2019.1683560}, pages = {1396 -- 1436}, year = {2019}, abstract = {The paper deals with an asymptotic relative efficiency concept for confidence regions of multidimensional parameters that is based on the expected volumes of the confidence regions. Under standard conditions the asymptotic relative efficiencies of confidence regions are seen to be certain powers of the ratio of the limits of the expected volumes. These limits are explicitly derived for confidence regions associated with certain plugin estimators, likelihood ratio tests and Wald tests. Under regularity conditions, the asymptotic relative efficiency of each of these procedures with respect to each one of its competitors is equal to 1. The results are applied to multivariate normal distributions and multinomial distributions in a fairly general setting.}, language = {en} } @inproceedings{BaaderKellerLehmannetal.2019, author = {Baader, Fabian and Keller, Denis and Lehmann, Raphael and Gerber, Lukas and Reiswich, Martin and Dachwald, Bernd and F{\"o}rstner, Roger}, title = {Operating melting probes for ice penetration under sublimation conditions and in reduced gravity on a sounding rocket}, series = {Proceedings of the 24th ESA Symposium on European Rocket and Balloon Programmes and related Research}, booktitle = {Proceedings of the 24th ESA Symposium on European Rocket and Balloon Programmes and related Research}, issn = {0379-6566}, pages = {8 Seiten}, year = {2019}, language = {en} } @inproceedings{AzarDigel2019, author = {Azar, Fouad and Digel, Ilya}, title = {Utilization of fluorescence spectroscopy and neural networks in clinical analysis}, series = {3rd YRA MedTech Symposium 2019 : May 24 / 2019 / FH Aachen}, booktitle = {3rd YRA MedTech Symposium 2019 : May 24 / 2019 / FH Aachen}, editor = {Staat, Manfred and Erni, Daniel}, publisher = {Universit{\"a}t Duisburg-Essen}, address = {Duisburg}, organization = {MedTech Symposium}, isbn = {978-3-940402-22-6}, doi = {10.17185/duepublico/48750}, pages = {40 -- 41}, year = {2019}, abstract = {Fluorescence topography of human urine in combination with learning algorithms can provide a variant pattern recognition method in analytical clinical chemistry and, eventually, diagnosis.}, language = {en} } @inproceedings{AuthCzarneckiBensberg2019, author = {Auth, Gunnar and Czarnecki, Christian and Bensberg, Frank}, title = {Impact of robotic process automation on enterprise architectures}, series = {GI Edition Proceedings Band 295 INFORMATIK 2019, Workshop-Beitr{\"a}ge}, booktitle = {GI Edition Proceedings Band 295 INFORMATIK 2019, Workshop-Beitr{\"a}ge}, editor = {Draude, Claude and Lange, Martin and Sick, Bernhard and Gesellschaft f{\"u}r Informatik e.V. For this simple emulation of user input and output by software robots, no changes of the systems and architecture is required. However, considering strategic aspects of aligning business and technology on an enterprise level as well as the growing capabilities of RPA driven by artificial intelligence, interrelations between RPA and Enterprise Architecture (EA) become visible and pose new questions.
