For such missions, the solar sail may gain a large amount of energy by first making one or more close approaches to the sun. Within this paper, optimal trajectories for solar sail missions to the outer planets and into near interstellar space (200 AU) are presented. Thereby, it is shown that even near/medium-term solar sails with relatively moderate performance allow reasonable transfer times to the boundaries of the solar system.}, language = {en} } @article{ChudobaButenwegPeiffer2004, author = {Chudoba, Rostislav and Butenweg, Christoph and Peiffer, F.}, title = {Technical information system for collaborative material research}, series = {Advances in engineering software}, volume = {Volume 35}, journal = {Advances in engineering software}, number = {Issue 10-11}, issn = {1873-5339 (E-Journal); 0965-9978 (Print)}, doi = {10.1016/j.advengsoft.2004.03.021}, pages = {747 -- 756}, year = {2004}, language = {en} } @article{ChristHollendungLarueetal.2004, author = {Christ, D. and Hollendung, A. and Larue, H. and Parl, C. and Streun, M. and Weber, S. and Ziemons, Karl and Halling, H.}, title = {Homogenization of the MultiChannel PM gain by inserting light attenuating masks}, series = {2003 IEEE Nuclear Science Symposium Conference Record, Vol. 4}, journal = {2003 IEEE Nuclear Science Symposium Conference Record, Vol. 4}, issn = {1082-3654}, pages = {2382 -- 2385}, year = {2004}, abstract = {MultiChannel Photomultipliers (PM), like the R7600-00-M64 or R5900-00-M64 from Hamamatsu, are often chosen as photodetectors in high-resolution positron emission tomography (PET). A major problem of this PM is the nonuniform channel gain. In order to solve this problem, light attenuating masks were created. The aim of the masks is a homogenization of the output of all 64 channels using different hole sizes at the channel positions. The hole area, which is individually defined for the different channels, is inversely proportional to the channel gain. The measurements by inserting light attenuating masks improved a homogenization to a ratio of 1:1.2.}, language = {en} } @article{CesariRennekampffVinterstenetal.2004, author = {Cesari, Francesca and Rennekampff, Verena and Vintersten, Kristina and Vuong, Lam Giang and Seibler, Jost and Bode, J{\"u}rgen and Wiebel, Franziska F. and Nordheim, Alfred}, title = {Elk-1 knock-out mice engineered by Flp recombinase-mediated cassette exchange}, series = {Genesis : The Journal of Genetics and Development}, volume = {38}, journal = {Genesis : The Journal of Genetics and Development}, number = {2}, issn = {1526-968X}, doi = {10.1002/gene.20003}, pages = {87 -- 92}, year = {2004}, language = {en} } @article{BreitbachSchubert2004, author = {Breitbach, Gerd and Schubert, F.}, title = {A contribution to stress prediction in coatings for gas turbine blades}, series = {Archive of applied mechanics. 73 (2004), H. 9-10}, journal = {Archive of applied mechanics. 73 (2004), H. 9-10}, isbn = {0939-1533}, pages = {682 -- 689}, year = {2004}, language = {en} } @incollection{BouvyKuperjans2004, author = {Bouvy, C. and Kuperjans, Isabel}, title = {Mikro-Gasturbinen : eine neue Technologie zur Kraft-W{\"a}rme-Kopplung in kleinen und mittleren Unternehmen}, series = {Entwicklungslinien der Energietechnik 2004}, booktitle = {Entwicklungslinien der Energietechnik 2004}, edition = {CD-ROM-Ausg.}, publisher = {VDI-Verlag}, address = {D{\"u}sseldorf}, year = {2004}, language = {de} } @book{BlomeZaun2004, author = {Blome, Hans-Joachim and Zaun, Harald}, title = {Der Urknall : Anfang und Zukunft des Universums}, publisher = {Beck}, address = {M{\"u}nchen}, isbn = {3406508375}, pages = {128 S : graph.
