At the same time the awareness and knowledge about cybersecurity, particularly in the context of ICS, is alarmingly low. Industrial honeypots offer a cheap and easy to implement way to raise cybersecurity awareness and to educate ICS staff about typical attack patterns. When integrated in a productive network, industrial honeypots may not only reveal attackers early but may also distract them from the actual important systems of the network. Implementing multiple honeypots as a honeynet, the systems can be used to emulate or simulate a whole Industrial Control System. This paper describes a network of honeypots emulating HTTP, SNMP, S7communication and the Modbus protocol using Conpot, IMUNES and SNAP7. The nodes mimic SIMATIC S7 programmable logic controllers (PLCs) which are widely used across the globe. The deployed honeypots' features will be compared with the features of real SIMATIC S7 PLCs. Furthermore, the honeynet has been made publicly available for ten days and occurring cyberattacks have been analyzed}, language = {en} } @inproceedings{SchreiberKraftZuendorf2016, author = {Schreiber, Marc and Kraft, Bodo and Z{\"u}ndorf, Albert}, title = {Cost-efficient quality assurance of natural language processing tools through continuous monitoring with continuous integration}, series = {3rd International Workshop on Software Engineering Research and Industrial Practice}, booktitle = {3rd International Workshop on Software Engineering Research and Industrial Practice}, doi = {10.1145/2897022.2897029}, pages = {46 -- 52}, year = {2016}, language = {en} } @inproceedings{SchreiberKraftZuendorf2018, author = {Schreiber, Marc and Kraft, Bodo and Z{\"u}ndorf, Albert}, title = {NLP Lean Programming Framework: Developing NLP Applications More Effectively}, series = {Proceedings of NAACL-HLT 2018: Demonstrations, New Orleans, Louisiana, June 2 - 4, 2018}, booktitle = {Proceedings of NAACL-HLT 2018: Demonstrations, New Orleans, Louisiana, June 2 - 4, 2018}, doi = {10.18653/v1/N18-5001 }, pages = {5 Seiten}, year = {2018}, abstract = {This paper presents NLP Lean Programming framework (NLPf), a new framework for creating custom natural language processing (NLP) models and pipelines by utilizing common software development build systems. This approach allows developers to train and integrate domain-specific NLP pipelines into their applications seamlessly. Additionally, NLPf provides an annotation tool which improves the annotation process significantly by providing a well-designed GUI and sophisticated way of using input devices. Due to NLPf's properties developers and domain experts are able to build domain-specific NLP applications more efficiently. The prime objective is to find the optimal steering strategy for a photonic sail to get captured around one of the stars after a minimum-time transfer from Earth. By extending the idea of the Breakthrough Starshot project with a deceleration phase upon arrival, the mission's scientific yield will be increased. As a secondary objective, transfer trajectories between the stars and orbit-raising manoeuvres to explore the habitable zones of the stars are investigated. All trajectories are optimised for minimum time of flight using the trajectory optimisation software InTrance. Depending on the sail technology, interstellar travel times of 77.6-18,790 years can be achieved, which presents an average improvement of 30\% with respect to previous work. Still, significant technological development is required to reach and be captured in the Alpha-Centauri system in less than a century. Therefore, a fly-through mission arguably remains the only option for a first exploratory mission to Alpha Centauri, but the enticing results obtained in this work provide perspective for future long-residence missions to our closest neighbouring star system.}, language = {en} } @inproceedings{SchoppNachtrodtHeuermannetal.2012, author = {Schopp, Christoph and Nachtrodt, Frederik and Heuermann, Holger and Scherer, Ulrich W. and Mostacci, Domiziano and Finger, Torsten and Tietsch, Wolfgang}, title = {A novel 2.45 GHz/200 W Microwave Plasma Jet for High Temperature Applications above 3600 K}, series = {Journal of Physics : Conference Series}, volume = {406}, booktitle = {Journal of Physics : Conference Series}, number = {012029}, issn = {1742-6596}, pages = {5}, year = {2012}, language = {en} }
