Consequently, the design space for future aircraft is expanded considerably, as serial hybrid-electric, parallel hybrid-electric, fully electric, and conventional propulsion systems must all be considered. While the best propulsion system depends on a multitude of requirements and considerations, trends can be observed for certain types of aircraft and certain types of missions. This Paper provides insight into some factors that drive a new design toward either conventional or hybrid propulsion systems. General aviation aircraft, regional transport aircraft vertical takeoff and landing air taxis, and unmanned aerial vehicles are chosen as case studies. Typical missions for each class are considered, and the aircraft are analyzed regarding their takeoff mass and primary energy consumption. For these case studies, a high-level approach is chosen, using an initial sizing methodology. Only parallel-hybrid-electric powertrains are taken into account. Aeropropulsive interaction effects are neglected. Results indicate that hybrid-electric propulsion systems should be considered if the propulsion system is sized by short-duration power constraints. Da bei einem solchen Szenario nicht von einer in der N{\"a}he befindlichen funktionierenden Laborinfrastruktur ausgegangen werden kann, ist es wichtig, dass die Messung direkt vor Ort erfolgen kann. Im Rahmen dieser Arbeit wurde untersucht, ob eine derartige Schnellanalytik mithilfe von superparamagnetischen Beads (MBs) und der magnetischen Frequenzmischtechnik m{\"o}glich ist. Dabei werden die MBs mit Hilfe von prim{\"a}ren Antik{\"o}rpern an die Zielsubstanz gebunden und mit sekund{\"a}ren Antik{\"o}rpern an die Poren-Oberfl{\"a}che eines Polyethylen-Filters fixiert (Sandwich-Immunoassay). So kann die Quantifizierung der Zielsubstanz auf eine magnetische Messung der immobilisierten MB-Marker zur{\"u}ckgef{\"u}hrt werden. Die magnetische Frequenzmischtechnik basiert auf der Anregung der Probe mit Magnetfeldern zweier verschiedener Frequenzen. Die durch die nichtlineare Magnetisierungsform der superparamagnetischen MBs entstehenden Mischfrequenzen werden typischerweise mithilfe einer zweistufigen Lock-in-Detektion analysiert (analoge Demodulation), die in einem Magnetreader als Handheldger{\"a}t realisiert wurde. Zus{\"a}tzlich zu dieser Technik wurde das Prinzip der direkten Digitalisierung des gesamten Antwortsignals mit anschließender Fourier-Analyse der erzeugten Mischfrequenzen experimentell umgesetzt, um die Amplituden und Phasen mehrerer Mischfrequenzen simultan zu erfassen. Eine M{\"o}glichkeit zur Sensitivit{\"a}tssteigerung ist die magnetische Aufkonzentration, indem vor der magnetischen Analyse eine Separation der MBs aus einem gr{\"o}ßeren Probenvolumen mittels magnetischem Feldgradienten durchgef{\"u}hrt wird. Zur Charakterisierung verschiedener kommerzieller MBs hinsichtlich ihrer magnetischen Separierbarkeit wurde ein Aufbau zur Messung ihrer magnetophoretischen Beweglichkeiten realisiert und ihre Geschwindigkeiten im Gradientenfeld mikroskopisch gemessen.Da eine Probe oftmals nicht nur auf eine einzige Zielsubstanz, sondern simultan auf mehrere verschiedene Pathogene hin untersucht werden soll, wurden verschiedene Ans{\"a}tze entwickelt und getestet, die einen solchen multiparametrischen magnetischen Immunoassay erm{\"o}glichen. Einerseits wurde eine r{\"a}umliche Separation der Bindungsbereiche f{\"u}r verschiedene Zielsubstanzen realisiert, die sequentiell ausgewertet werden k{\"o}nnen. Andererseits wurde die Unterscheidung von verschiedenen Zielsubstanzen anhand der Charakteristika der an sie gebundenen, verschieden funktionalisierten MB-Typen untersucht. F{\"u}r eine solche Unterscheidung wurde zum einen die Anregefrequenz der magnetischen Frequenzmischtechnik w{\"a}hrend einer Messung variiert. Damit konnte gezeigt werden, dass sich verschiedene MB-Sorten anhand der Phase ihrer Frequenzmischsignale voneinander unterscheiden lassen. Weiterhin wurde gezeigt, dass sich der Signalverlauf einer bin{\"a}ren Mischung zweier verschiedener MB-Typen als gradueller {\"U}bergang der Verl{\"a}ufe der beiden reinen MB-L{\"o}sungen ergibt. Eine weitere Analysemethode f{\"u}r einen multiparametrischen Immunoassay besteht darin, ein zus{\"a}tzliches einstellbares statisches magnetisches Offsetfeld zu verwenden. Hierf{\"u}r wurden mehrere Aufbauten auf Basis von Permanent- und Elektromagneten simuliert, konstruiert und charakterisiert. Mithilfe von Simulationen konnte gezeigt werden, dass eine auf diesem Verfahren beruhende Unterscheidung f{\"u}r MBs mit unterschiedlichen magnetischen Partikelmomenten m{\"o}glich ist. The investigations have exhibited feasible and economical production of biogas in a continuous process with energy cane as substrate. With a daily feeding rate of 1.68gᵥₛ/l*d the average specific gas formation rate was 0.5 m3/kgᵥₛ. The long-term study demonstrates a surprisingly fast metabolism of short-chain fatty acids. The Langevin model in thermodynamic equilibrium was fitted to the experimental data to derive parameters of the lognormal core size distribution. These parameters were subsequently used as inputs for micromagnetic Monte-Carlo (MC)-simulations. From the hysteresis loops obtained from MC-simulations, sum-frequency components were numerically demodulated and compared with both experiment and Langevin model predictions. From the latter, we derived that approximately 90\% of the frequency mixing magnetic response signal is generated by the largest 10\% of MNP. We therefore suggest that small particles do not contribute to the frequency mixing signal, which is supported by MC-simulation results. Both theoretical approaches describe the experimental signal shapes well, but with notable differences between experiment and micromagnetic simulations. The results are well in line with data obtained using a calibrated reference instrument. The new setup holds for conductivity values spanning almost two orders of magnitude (river versus ocean water) without the need for equivalent circuit modelling. Temperature measurements were performed in four-point geometry with an on-chip platinum RTD (resistance temperature detector) in the temperature range between 2 °C and 40 °C, showing no hysteresis effects between warming and cooling cycles. Although the meander was not shielded against the liquid, the temperature calibration provided equivalent results to low conductive Milli-Q and highly conductive ocean water. Welche Home-Entertainmentger{\"a}te finden bereits im Wohnzimmer Platz und welche Komplikationen gibt es mit ihnen? Die breite Palette an Produkten gibt einen Eindruck davon, welche Funktionen ersetzt und welche Systeme gegebenenfalls miteinander verkn{\"u}pft werden k{\"o}nnen. Auf der Basis umfassender Recherche ist eine Fernbedienung entstanden, die sowohl per Sprachsteuerung als auch {\"u}ber physische Steuerung steuerbar ist. Zahlreiche taktile Elemente geben Orientierung bei der Nutzung und gew{\"a}hrleisten ein reibungsloses und handliches Nutzungserlebnis. Especially in expansion nozzles of rocket engines with large area ratio, flow separation can trigger strong side loads that can damage the structure of the nozzle. The investigation presented in this paper seeks to establish measures that may be applied to alter the point of flow separation. In order to achieve this, a supersonic nozzle was placed at the exit plane of the conical nozzle. This resulted in the generation of cross flow surrounding the core jet flow from the conical nozzle. Due to the entrainment of the gas stream from the conical nozzle the pressure in its exit plane was found to be lower than that of the ambient. A Cold gas instead of hot combustion gases was used as the working fluid. A mathematical simulation of the concept was validated by experiment. Measurements confirmed the simulation results that due to the introduction of a second nozzle the pressure in the separated region of the conical nozzle was significantly reduced. It was also established that the boundary layer separation inside the conical nozzle was delayed thus allowing an increased degree of overexpansion. PLATO's primary objective is the detection of Earth like Exoplanets orbiting solar type stars in the habitable zone and characterisation of their bulk properties. This is possible by precise lightcurve measurement via 34 cameras. That said it becomes obvious that accurate pointing is key to achieve the required signal to noise ratio for positive transit detection. The paper will start with a comprehensive overview of PLATO's mission objectives and mission architecture. Hereafter, special focus will be devoted to PLATO's pointing requirements. Understanding the very nature of PLATO's pointing requirements is essential to derive a design baseline to achieve the required performance. The PLATO frequency domain is of particular interest, ranging from 40 mHz to 3 Hz. Due to the very different time-scales involved, the spectral pointing requirement is decomposed into a high frequency part dominated by the attitude control system and the low frequency part dominated by the thermo-elastic properties of the spacecraft's configuration. Bei der Entwicklung und Anwendung neuartiger Magnetpartikeloberfl{\"a}chen ist die Verf{\"u}gbarkeit großer Mengen nicht gegeben. Bisherige Filterkammern erh{\"o}hen zudem den Arbeitsaufwand und verursachen gr{\"o}ßere Partikelverluste bei Sp{\"u}lvorg{\"a}ngen oder der Reinigung aufgrund der Partikeladsorption. F{\"u}r Anwendungen im Maßstab < 500 mL wird deshalb ein Miniatur-Hochgradientfilter (miniHGF) entwickelt. Das Modell wird im 3D-Drucker Makerbot Replicator 2 gefertigt und magne-isierbare Dr{\"a}hte zur Partikelabscheidung eingesetzt. Die Vergleichbarkeit mit einem etablierten Magnetseparator wird anhand der Aufnahme von Durchbruchskurven und Bestimmung der Filtereffizienz untersucht.
