A key parameter for the potential ground risk is the kinetic impact energy of the UAS. The kinetic energy depends on the impact velocity of the UAS and, therefore, on the aerodynamic drag and the weight during free fall. Hence, estimating the impact energy of a UAS requires an accurate drag estimation of the UAS in that state. The paper at hand presents the aerodynamic drag estimation of small-scale multirotor UAS. Multirotor UAS of various sizes and configurations were analysed with a fully unsteady Reynolds-averaged Navier-Stokes approach. These simulations included different velocities and various fuselage pitch angles of the UAS. The results were compared against force measurements performed in a subsonic wind tunnel and provided good consistency. Furthermore, the influence of the UAS`s fuselage pitch angle as well as the influence of fixed and free spinning propellers on the aerodynamic drag was analysed. Free spinning propellers may increase the drag by up to 110\%, depending on the fuselage pitch angle. Increasing the fuselage pitch angle of the UAS lowers the drag by 40\% up to 85\%, depending on the UAS. Penicillinase enzymes were conjugated with streptavidin and coupled to TMV rods by use of a bifunctional biotin-linker. Penicillinase-decorated TMV particles were characterized extensively in halochromic dye-based biosensing. Acidometric analyte detection was performed with bromcresol purple as pH indicator and spectrophotometry. The TMV-assisted sensors exhibited increased enzyme loading and strongly improved reusability, and higher analysis rates compared to layouts without viral adapters. They extended the half-life of the sensors from 4 - 6 days to 5 weeks and thus allowed an at least 8-fold longer use of the sensors. Therefore, these quantities have to be monitored or controlled in order to guarantee a stable process operation, optimization and high yield. In this work, a sensor chip for the multiparameter detection of three physico-chemical parameters such as electrolyte conductivity, pH and temperature is realized using barium strontium titanate (BST) as multipurpose material. The chip integrates a capacitively coupled four-electrode electrolyte-conductivity sensor, a capacitive field-effect pH sensor and a thin-film Pt-temperature sensor. Due to the multifunctional properties of BST, it is utilized as final outermost coating layer of the processed sensor chip and serves as passivation and protection layer as well as pH-sensitive transducer material at the same time. The results of testing of the individual sensors of the developed multiparameter sensor chip are presented. In addition, a quasi-simultaneous multiparameter characterization of the sensor chip in buffer solutions with different pH value and electrolyte conductivity is performed. In domestic settings for service robots complex tasks have to be accomplished. Those tasks benefit from deliberation, from robust action execution and from flexible methods for human-robot interaction that account for qualitative notions used in natural language as well as human fallibility. Our robot CAESAR deploys AI techniques on several levels of its system architecture. On the low-level side, system modules for localization or navigation make, for instance, use of path-planning methods, heuristic search, and Bayesian filters. For face recognition and human-machine interaction, random trees and well-known methods from natural language processing are deployed. For deliberation, we use the robot programming and plan language READYLOG, which was developed for the high-level control of agents and robots; it allows combining programming the behaviour using planning to find a course of action. READYLOG is a variant of the robot programming language Golog. We extended READYLOG to be able to cope with qualitative notions of space frequently used by humans, such as "near" and "far". This facilitates human-robot interaction by bridging the gap between human natural language and the numerical values needed by the robot. Further, we use READYLOG to increase the flexible interpretation of human commands with decision-theoretic planning. To achieve a preferentially flat orientation of DNA strands and thus, to reduce the distance between the DNA charge and MLAPS surface, the negatively charged probe single-stranded DNAs (ssDNA) were electrostatically adsorbed onto the positively charged PAH layer using a simple layer-by-layer (LbL) technique. In this way, more DNA charge can be positioned within the Debye length, yielding a higher sensor signal. The surface potential changes in each spot induced due to the surface modification steps (PAH adsorption, probe ssDNA immobilization, hybridization with complementary target DNA (cDNA), non-specific adsorption of mismatched ssDNA) were determined from the shifts of photocurrent-voltage curves along the voltage axis. A high sensor signal of 83 mV was registered after immobilization of probe ssDNA onto the PAH layer. The hybridization signal increases from 5 mV to 32 mV with increasing the concentration of cDNA from 0.1 nM to 5 μM. In contrast, a small signal of 5 mV was recorded in the case of non-specific adsorption of fully mismatched ssDNA (5 μM). Applying a structured literature search strategy, we reflect and discuss compliance-checking approaches in order to provide an insight into their generalizability and evaluation. The results imply that current approaches mainly focus on special modeling techniques and/or a restricted set of types of compliance rules. Currently, no specific vaccines or drugs against COVID-19 are available. Therefore, early diagnosis and treatment are essential in order to slow the virus spread and to contain the disease outbreak. Hence, new diagnostic tests and devices for virus detection in clinical samples that are faster, more accurate and reliable, easier and cost-efficient than existing ones are needed. Due to the small sizes, fast response time, label-free operation without the need for expensive and time-consuming labeling steps, the possibility of real-time and multiplexed measurements, robustness and portability (point-of-care and on-site testing), biosensors based on semiconductor field-effect devices (FEDs) are one of the most attractive platforms for an electrical detection of charged biomolecules and bioparticles by their intrinsic charge. In this review, recent advances and key developments in the field of label-free detection of viruses (including plant viruses) with various types of FEDs are presented. In recent years, however, certain plant viruses have also attracted additional interest for biosensor layouts: Their repetitive protein subunits arranged at nanometric spacing can be employed for coupling functional molecules. If used as adapters on sensor chip surfaces, they allow an efficient immobilization of analyte-specific recognition and detector elements such as antibodies and enzymes at highest surface densities. The display on plant viral bionanoparticles may also lead to long-time stabilization of sensor molecules upon repeated uses and has the potential to increase sensor performance substantially, compared to conventional layouts. This has been demonstrated in different proof-of-concept biosensor devices. Therefore, richly available plant viral particles, non-pathogenic for animals or humans, might gain novel importance if applied in receptor layers of FEDs. In this article, the microwave (MW) spark plug, based on a high-speed frequency hopping system, is introduced as a solution, which can support a nitrogen compression ratio up to 1:39 in a chamber and more. First, an overview of the high-speed frequency hopping MW ignition and operation system as well as the large number of applications are presented. Both gives an understanding of this new base technology for MW plasma generation. Focus of the theoretical part is the explanation of the internal construction of the spark plug, on the achievable of the high voltage generation as well as the high efficiency to hold the plasma. In detail, the development process starting with circuit simulations and ending with the numerical multiphysics field simulations is described. The concept is evaluated with a reference prototype covering the frequency range between 2.40 and 2.48 GHz and working over a large power range from 20 to 200 W. A larger number of different measurements starting by vector hot-S11 measurements and ending by combined working scenarios out of hot temperature, high pressure and charge motion are winding up the article. In this work, an impedimetric sensor has been applied for real-time and in situ monitoring of degradation processes of biopolymers. The sensor consists of two platinum thin-film electrodes covered by a polymer film to be studied. The benchmark biomedical polymer poly(D,L-lactic acid) (PDLLA) was used as a model system. PDLLA films were deposited on the sensor structure from a polymer solution by using the spin-coating method. The degradation kinetics of PDLLA films have been studied in alkaline solutions of pH 9 and 12 by means of an impedance spectroscopy (IS) method. Any changes in a polymer capacitance/resistance induced by water uptake and/or polymer degradation will modulate the global impedance of the polymer-covered sensor that can be used as an indicator of the polymer degradation. The substrate is a fiber fraction obtained by organosolv pre-treatment of beech wood. For the ethanol production, a co-fermentation by two different yeasts (Saccharomyces cerevisiae and Pachysolen tannophilus) was carried out to convert glucose as well as xylose. Two approaches has been followed: 1. A two step process, in which the hydrolysis of the fiber fraction and the fermentation to product are separated from each other. 2. A process, in which the hydrolysis and the fermentation are carried out in one single process step as simultaneous saccharification and fermentation (SSF). Following the first approach, a yield of about 0.15 g ethanol per gram substrate can be reached. The combustion process is based on the phenomenon of jet-in-crossflow-mixing. Fuel is injected perpendicular into the air-cross-flow and burned in a multitude of miniaturized, diffusion-like flames. The miniaturization of the flames leads to a significant reduction of NOₓ emissions due to the very short residence time of reactants in the flame. In the Micromix research approach, CFD analyses are validated towards experimental results. The combination of numerical and experimental methods allows an efficient design and optimization of DLN Micromix combustors concerning combustion stability and low NOₓ emissions. The paper presents a comparison of several numerical combustion models for hydrogen and hydrogen-rich syngas. They differ in the complexity of the underlying reaction mechanism and the associated computational effort. For pure hydrogen combustion a one-step global reaction is applied using a hybrid Eddy-Break-up model that incorporates finite rate kinetics. The model is evaluated and compared to a detailed hydrogen combustion mechanism derived by Li et al. including 9 species and 19 reversible elementary reactions. Based on this mechanism, reduction of the computational effort is achieved by applying the Flamelet Generated Manifolds (FGM) method while the accuracy of the detailed reaction scheme is maintained. For hydrogen-rich syngas combustion (H₂-CO) numerical analyses based on a skeletal H₂/CO reaction mechanism derived by Hawkes et al. and a detailed reaction mechanism provided by Ranzi et al. are performed. The comparison between combustion models and the validation of numerical results is based on exhaust gas compositions available from experimental investigation on DLN Micromix combustors. The conducted evaluation confirms that the applied detailed combustion mechanisms are able to predict the general physics of the DLN-Micromix combustion process accurately. The Flamelet Generated Manifolds method proved to be generally suitable to reduce the computational effort while maintaining the accuracy of detailed chemistry. Especially for reaction mechanisms with a high number of species accuracy and computational effort can be balanced using the FGM model.}, language = {en} } @article{UlberPothMonzonetal.2010, author = {Ulber, Roland and Poth, Sebastian and Monzon, Magaly and Tippk{\"o}tter, Nils}, title = {Prozessintegration von Hydrolyse und Fermentation von Cellulose- Faserstoff}, series = {Chemie Ingenieur Technik}, volume = {82}, journal = {Chemie Ingenieur Technik}, number = {1-2}, issn = {1522-2640}, doi = {10.1002/cite.200900103}, pages = {135 -- 139}, year = {2010}, abstract = {Ein viel versprechender erneuerbarer Rohstoff f{\"u}r die Produktion von Chemikalien und Treibstoffen ist Lignocellulose aus pflanzlicher Biomasse. Consequently, the design space for future aircraft is expanded considerably, as serial hybrid-electric, parallel hybrid-electric, fully electric, and conventional propulsion systems must all be considered. While the best propulsion system depends on a multitude of requirements and considerations, trends can be observed for certain types of aircraft and certain types of missions. This Paper provides insight into some factors that drive a new design toward either conventional or hybrid propulsion systems. General aviation aircraft, regional transport aircraft vertical takeoff and landing air taxis, and unmanned aerial vehicles are chosen as case studies. Typical missions for each class are considered, and the aircraft are analyzed regarding their takeoff mass and primary energy consumption. For these case studies, a high-level approach is chosen, using an initial sizing methodology. Only parallel-hybrid-electric powertrains are taken into account. Aeropropulsive interaction effects are neglected. Results indicate that hybrid-electric propulsion systems should be considered if the propulsion system is sized by short-duration power constraints. However, if the propulsion system is sized by a continuous power requirement, hybrid-electric systems offer hardly any benefit.}, language = {en} } @article{BongaertsBovenbergKraemeretal.2002, author = {Bongaerts, Johannes and Bovenberg, Roel and Kr{\"a}mer, Marco and M{\"u}ller, Ulrike and Raeven, Leon and Wubbolts, Marcel}, title = {Metabolic engineering to produce fine chemicals in Escherichia coli}, series = {Chemie - Ingenieur - Technik (CIT)}, volume = {Vol. 74}, journal = {Chemie - Ingenieur - Technik (CIT)}, number = {Iss. 5}, issn = {1522-2640 (E-Journal); 0009-286X (Print)}, pages = {694}, year = {2002}, language = {en} } @article{Golland2019, author = {Golland, Alexander}, title = {Gemeinsam einsam: Ein „Like" f{\"u}r die gemeinsame Verantwortlichkeit?}, series = {ZD Zeitschrift f{\"u}r Datenschutz}, volume = {9}, journal = {ZD Zeitschrift f{\"u}r Datenschutz}, number = {9}, editor = {Hoeren, Thomas and Schneider, Jochen and Selmayr, Martin and Spies, Axel and Wybitul, Tim}, publisher = {Beck}, address = {M{\"u}nchen}, isbn = {2192-5593}, pages = {381 -- 382}, year = {2019}, language = {de} } @article{BialonskiWellmerElgeretal.2006, author = {Bialonski, Stephan and Wellmer, J{\"o}rg and Elger, Christian E. and Lehnertz, Klaus}, title = {Interictal focus localization in neocortical lesional epilepsies with synchronization cluster analysis}, series = {Epilepsia}, volume = {47}, journal = {Epilepsia}, issn = {0013-9580}, pages = {36}, year = {2006}, language = {en} } @article{FerreinBoehnstedtLakemeyer2007, author = {Ferrein, Alexander and B{\"o}hnstedt, Lutz and Lakemeyer, Gerhard}, title = {Options in readylog reloaded -- generating decision-theoretic plan libraries in golog / B{\"o}hnstedt, Lutz ; Ferrein, Alexander ; Lakemeyer, Gerhard}, series = {KI 2007: advances in artificial intelligence : 30th Annual German Conference on AI, KI 2007, Osnabr{\"u}ck, Germany, September 10 - 13, 2007 ; proceedings}, journal = {KI 2007: advances in artificial intelligence : 30th Annual German Conference on AI, KI 2007, Osnabr{\"u}ck, Germany, September 10 - 13, 2007 ; proceedings}, publisher = {Springer}, address = {Berlin}, isbn = {978-3-540-74564-8}, pages = {352 -- 366}, year = {2007}, language = {en} } @article{GerigkMaassTakorsetal.2000, author = {Gerigk, M. and Maaß, D. and Takors, Ralf and Kreutzer, A. and Wandrey, Christian and Bongaerts, Johannes and Wubbolts, Marcel}, title = {Fermentative Herstellung von L-Phenylalanin im Fed-Batch Verfahren mit E. coli unter Einbindung eines integrierten Aufarbeitungsverfahrens}, series = {Chemie-Ingenieur-Technik (CIT)}, volume = {Vol. 72}, journal = {Chemie-Ingenieur-Technik (CIT)}, number = {Iss. 9}, issn = {1522-2640 (E-Journal); 0009-286X (Print)}, pages = {926 -- 927}, year = {2000}, language = {de} } @article{Heuermann1995, author = {Heuermann, Holger}, title = {LZY: A Self-Calibration Approach in Competition to the LRM Method for On-Wafer Measurements}, pages = {129 -- 136}, year = {1995}, language = {en} } @article{Golland2020, author = {Golland, Alexander}, title = {Datenschutzrechtliche Fragen personalisierter Preise — Herausforderungen von Algorithmen im Schnittbereich von Ethik, {\"O}konomie und Datenschutz}, series = {CR Computer und Recht}, volume = {36}, journal = {CR Computer und Recht}, number = {3}, publisher = {Verlag Dr. Otto Schmidt}, address = {K{\"o}ln}, isbn = {2194-4172}, doi = {10.9785/cr-2020-360313}, pages = {186 -- 194}, year = {2020}, language = {de} } @article{HeuermannStolleSchiek1995, author = {Heuermann, Holger and Stolle, Reinhard and Schiek, Burkhard}, title = {Auswertemethoden zur Praezisions-Entfernungsmessung mit FMCW-Systemen und deren Anwendung im Mikrowellenbereich}, series = {tm - Technisches Messen. 62. 1995 (1995), H. 2}, journal = {tm - Technisches Messen. 62. 1995 (1995), H. 2}, pages = {66 -- 73}, year = {1995}, language = {de} } @article{LaackRefischOhnsorgeetal.1984, author = {Laack, Walter van and Refisch, A. and Ohnsorge, J. and D{\"u}rselen, L.}, title = {Proximaler Femurteilersatz - Alternative zum Schaftwechsel zementfixierter H{\"u}ftendoprothesen}, series = {Orthop{\"a}dische Praxis. 20 (1984), H. 11}, journal = {Orthop{\"a}dische Praxis. 20 (1984), H. 11}, isbn = {0030-588x}, pages = {856}, year = {1984}, language = {de} } @article{Golland2018, author = {Golland, Alexander}, title = {Der r{\"a}umliche Anwendungsbereich der DS-GVO}, series = {DuD Datenschutz und Datensicherheit}, volume = {42}, journal = {DuD Datenschutz und Datensicherheit}, number = {6}, publisher = {Springer}, address = {Heidelberg}, isbn = {1862-2607}, pages = {351 -- 357}, year = {2018}, abstract = {Die Datenschutz-Grundverordnung (DS-GVO) regelt in ihrem Art. 3 das r{\"a}umlich anwendbare Datenschutzrecht und zielt dabei gerade auch auf Angebote nichteurop{\"a}ischer Diensteanbieter ab.
