We assessed the effects of temperature on the growth rates of all three species with the objective of developing a model with four differential equations based on the experimental data. The following hypotheses were tested at a theoretical level: Firstly, temperature changes can affect the dynamic behavior of a system by temperature-dependent parameters and interactions and secondly, food web response to temperature cannot be derived from the single species temperature response. The main outcome of the study is that temperature changes affect the parameter range where coexistence is possible within all three species. In this paper, finite element method was used to clarify the mechanics of tissue stapling and associated phenomena. Various stapling modalities and several designs of circular staplers were investigated to evaluate the impact of the device on tissues and mechanical performance of the end-to-end colorectal anastomosis. Numerical simulations demonstrated that a single row of staples is not adequate to resist leakage due to non-linear buckling and opening of the tissue layers between two adjacent staples. Compared to the single staple row configuration, significant increase in stress experienced by the tissue at the inner staple rows was observed in two and three rows designs. On the other hand, adding second and/or third staple row had no effect on strain in the tissue inside the staples. Variable height design with higher staples in outer rows significantly reduced the stresses and strains in outer rows when compared to the same configuration with flat cartridge.}, language = {en} } @inproceedings{NowackRoethBuehrigPolaczeketal.2008, author = {Nowack, N. and R{\"o}th, Thilo and B{\"u}hrig-Polaczek, A. and Klaus, G.}, title = {Advanced Sheet Metal Components Reinforced by Light Metal Cast Structures}, series = {Aluminium alloys : their physical and mechanical properties ; [proceedings of the 11th International Conference on Aluminium Alloys, 22 - 26 Sept. 2008, Aachen, Germany ; ICAA 11]}, booktitle = {Aluminium alloys : their physical and mechanical properties ; [proceedings of the 11th International Conference on Aluminium Alloys, 22 - 26 Sept. 2008, Aachen, Germany ; ICAA 11]}, number = {2}, editor = {Hirsch, J{\"u}rgen}, isbn = {978-3-527-32367-8}, pages = {2374 -- 2381}, year = {2008}, language = {en} } @article{NurispahicKotliarLanzl2008, author = {Nurispahic, A. and Kotliar, Konstantin and Lanzl, I.}, title = {Messung der Akkommodation mittels optischer Biometrie}, series = {Der Ophthalmologe}, volume = {105}, journal = {Der Ophthalmologe}, number = {4}, publisher = {-}, isbn = {1433-0423}, pages = {369 -- 375}, year = {2008}, language = {de} } @inproceedings{NursinskiStolbergGangatharanCzarnecki2016, author = {Nursinski-Stolberg, Andr{\´e} and Gangatharan, Kiritharan and Czarnecki, Christian}, title = {Development of a subject-oriented reference process model for the telecommunications industry}, series = {GI Edition Proceedings Band 259 INFORMATIK 2016}, booktitle = {GI Edition Proceedings Band 259 INFORMATIK 2016}, editor = {Mayr, Heinrich C. and Pinzger, Martin}, publisher = {Gesellschaft f{\"u}r Informatik e.V.}, address = {Bonn}, isbn = {9783885796534}, issn = {1617-5468}, pages = {699 -- 712}, year = {2016}, abstract = {Generally the usage of reference models can be structured top-down or bottom-up. The practical need of agile change and flexible organizational implementation requires a consistent mapping to an operational level. In this context, well-established reference process models are typically structured top-down. The subject-oriented Business Process Management (sBPM) offers a modeling concept that is structured bottom-up and concentrates on the process actors on an operational level. This paper applies sBPM to the enhanced Telecom Operations Map (eTOM), a well-accepted reference process model in the telecommunications industry. The resulting design artifact is a concrete example for a combination of a bottom-up and top-down developed reference model.
