First, a systematic literature review is carried out to outline (current) scientific models and theories. Research Question 1 follows with a mathematical introduction of the rebound effect, which shows the interdependence of consumer behaviour, technological progress, and interwoven effects for both. Thereupon, the research field is analysed for gaps and limitations by a systematic literature review. To ensure quantitative and qualitative results, a review protocol is used that integrates two different stages and covers all relevant publications released between 2000 and 2019. Accordingly, 392 publications were identified that deal with the rebound effect. These papers were reviewed to obtain relevant information on the two research questions. The literature review shows that research on the rebound effect is not yet comprehensive and focuses mainly on the effect itself rather than solutions to avoid it. Research Question 2 finds that the main gap, and thus the limitations, is that not much research has been published on the actual avoidance of the rebound effect yet. This is a major limitation for practical application by decision-makers and politicians. Therefore, a theoretical analysis was carried out to identify potential theories and ideas to avoid the rebound effect. The most obvious idea to solve this problem is the theory of a Steady-State Economy (SSE), which has been described and reviewed.}, language = {en} } @misc{BiewendtBlaschkeBoehnert2019, author = {Biewendt, Marcel and Blaschke, Florian and B{\"o}hnert, Arno}, title = {The rebound effect: a critical and systematic review on the current state of affairs}, series = {Abstracts of the International Conference on Sustainable Economy and Agriculture}, journal = {Abstracts of the International Conference on Sustainable Economy and Agriculture}, editor = {Koponicsne Gy{\"o}rke, Diana}, publisher = {Universit{\"a}t Kaposv{\´a}r}, address = {Kaposv{\´a}r}, isbn = {978-615-5599-72-9}, pages = {101 -- 101}, year = {2019}, language = {en} } @article{KrollLudwigs2007, author = {Kroll-Ludwigs, Kathrin}, title = {The Reform of German Maintenance Law}, series = {The International Survey of Family Law}, journal = {The International Survey of Family Law}, pages = {85 -- 100}, year = {2007}, language = {en} } @inproceedings{EggertWinkelmannLohmannetal.2013, author = {Eggert, Mathias and Winkelmann, Axel and Lohmann, Patrick and Knackstedt, Ralf}, title = {The Regulatory Influence On Management Information Systems - A Contingency Perspective}, series = {ECIS 2013 Completed Research. 9}, booktitle = {ECIS 2013 Completed Research. 9}, pages = {13 S.}, year = {2013}, language = {en} } @inproceedings{KnackstedtEggertHeddieretal.2013, author = {Knackstedt, Ralf and Eggert, Mathias and Heddier, Marcel and Chasin, Friedrich and Becker, J{\"o}rg}, title = {The Relationship of IS and Law - Insights into the German Online Car Registration Case}, series = {ECIS 2013 Completed Research. 18. Both Fe³⁺ and Cu²⁺, potential contaminants in Gallium-68 generator eluent, substantially reduce the radiochemical (RC) yield of [⁶⁸Ga(DOTATATE)] if the metal/ligand ratio of 1:1 is exceeded. A variety of compounds were examined for their potential ability to reduce this effect. Most had no effect on RC yield. However, addition of phosphate diminished the influence of Fe³⁺ by likely forming an insoluble iron salt. Addition of ascorbic acid reduced Cu²⁺ and Fe³⁺ to Cu⁺ and Fe²⁺ respectively, both of which have limited impact on RC yields. At low ligand amounts (5 nmol DOTATATE), the addition of 30 nmol phosphate (0.19 mM) increased the tolerance of Fe3⁺ from 4 nmol to 10 nmol (0.06 mM), while the addition of ascorbic acid allowed high RC yields (>95\%) in the presence of 40 nmol Fe³⁺ (0.25 mM) and 100 nmol Cu²⁺ (0.63 mM). First, we provide 16 relevant and less relevant environmental success factors, which enables a comparison with prior identified factors. We found out that several prior environmental success factors, such as accessibility to transportation or the availability of land and facilities are less relevant for a digital entrepreneur. Second, we derive and discuss hypotheses for the influence of these factors on digital start-up success. How can we address the search for life in our Solar System? Mars, Enceladus and Europa are the focus of the search for life outside the terrestrial biosphere. Many of us grew up in one, in a home that our parents, grandparents, aunts, uncles and relatives shaped. Who, as we grew up, taught us about the world from their perspective as we interpreted and saw it for the first time and with it, its colors, its smells, its tastes, its sounds, its dances, and its languages. When we migrate, we take all that with us, like a piece of luggage that was stored in some corner inside a lung, or inside the memory in a heart's artery. And then you arrive in this new world, which we were told was the Old World, with other colors, other flavors, other words, in which yours no longer make sense. And you try to connect with all your senses, but, above all, we try to belong, because we belonged all our lives to something, to someone, to some place where we learned to be. When we migrate, without saying, we go through the grieve that comes with the beautiful discomfort of leaving everything we once knew. We mourn, because we can't go to lunch at our grandmas on Sundays, or have mom bring us soup when we are sick, or the Christmas meals and celebrations that we like so much, or that special dish that was made for us on our birthdays or on a family BBQ on a Sunday or a holiday. I wonder if emotions come inside us through the taste and respiratory track, if it is that we breathe life, and with that what we love finds its ways inside and finds its corner somewhere in the body. If what we have loved and what we have lived hides somewhere in our body, I doubtlessly think it came in through one of our senses, and in this attempt at my first illustrated book I'll share which, I think, are the senses through which at first instance part of what we perceive as cultural identity enters.}, language = {de} } @article{BaumannLancelotBrandinietal.1994, author = {Baumann, Marcus and Lancelot, C. and Brandini, F. and Sakshaug, E.}, title = {The taxonomic identity of the cosmopolitan prymnesiophyte Phaeocystis, a morphological and ecophysiological approach / Baumann, M.E.M. ; Lancelot, C. ; Brandini, F. ; Sakshaug, E. ; John M.}, series = {Journal of Marine Systems. 5 (1994), H. 1}, journal = {Journal of Marine Systems. 5 (1994), H. 1}, isbn = {0924-7963}, pages = {5 -- 22}, year = {1994}, language = {en} } @article{Jacobs1999, author = {Jacobs, Stephan}, title = {The Teamwork Approach in Requirements Engineering}, series = {The nature of requirements engineering / Matthias Jarke ...
