  abstract  = {Das vorgestellte System zu Wireless CAN bietet die M{\"o}glichkeit, CAN kabellos zu {\"u}bertragen. Beide vorgestellten und entwickelten Konzepte funktionieren korrekt und erm{\"o}glichen den Auf-bau von kabellosen CAN Schnittstellen. Durch den kleinen Aufbau kann diese Technologie auch f{\"u}r eingebettete Systeme verwendet werden. Zudem bietet dieser Ansatz die M{\"o}glichkeit, durch die Entwicklung von geeigneten ICs die Gr{\"o}ße des Systems bis auf Bauteilgr{\"o}ße zu reduzieren, um eine noch bessere Integration in eingebettete Systeme zu erm{\"o}glichen. Dadurch wird die Technologie attraktiv f{\"u}r Einsatzgebiete, wo die oben aufgelisteten Vorteile zum Tragen kommen k{\"o}nnen.   abstract  = {Obwohl es eine Vielzahl von Einf{\"u}hrungskonzepten f{\"u}r ITSM gibt, hat sich bisher keines dieser Konzepte auf breiter Linie durchgesetzt. Das gilt in erh{\"o}htem Maße f{\"u}r ITSM-Einf{\"u}hrungskonzepte f{\"u}r KMU, wohl nicht zuletzt aufgrund der Tatsache, dass der Mehrwert von ITSM f{\"u}r KMU aufgrund der geringeren Gr{\"o}ße der IT-Organisationen nur entsprechend schwieriger generiert werden kann. Mit diesem Beitrag wird ein Einf{\"u}hrungskonzept f{\"u}r ITSM in KMU systematisch hergeleitet. Daf{\"u}r wurden zun{\"a}chst die Treiber und Barrieren von ITSM untersucht, um daraus ein umfassendes Wirkmodell zu entwickeln. Da mit diesem Wirkungsmodell die Einflussfaktoren auf den Erfolg von ITSM in KMU deutlich werden, konnte auf dieser Basis ein Einf{\"u}hrungskonzept abgeleitet werden, welches insbesondere die positiven Effekte unterst{\"u}tzt bzw. verst{\"a}rkt.},

  abstract  = {This paper presents an approach for reducing the cognitive load for humans working in quality control (QC) for production processes that adhere to the 6σ -methodology. While 100\% QC requires every part to be inspected, this task can be reduced when a human-in-the-loop QC process gets supported by an anomaly detection system that only presents those parts for manual inspection that have a significant likelihood of being defective.   abstract  = {This article introduces a new maritime search and rescue system based on S-band illumination harmonic radar (HR). Passive and active tags have been developed and tested attached to life jackets and a rescue boat. This system was able to detect and range the active tags up to a range of 5800 m in tests on the Baltic Sea with an antenna input power of only 100 W. All electronic GHz components of the system, excluding the S-band power amplifier, were custom developed for this purpose. Special attention is given to the performance and conceptual differences between passive and active tags used in the system and integration with a maritime X-band navigation radar is demonstrated.},

Als ein Element der technischen und organisatorischen Maßnahmen zum Schutz eines Netzwerkes k{\"o}nnen Monitoring-Apps dienen, die unerw{\"u}nschtes Verhalten und Angriffe erkennen. Die automatisierte {\"U}berwachung von Endger{\"a}ten ist jedoch rechtlich und ethisch komplex. Dies in Kombination mit einer hohen Sensibilit{\"a}t der Nutzer und Nutzerinnen dieser Ger{\"a}te in Bezug auf Privatsph{\"a}re, kann zu einer geringen Akzeptanz und Compliance f{\"u}hren. Eine datenschutzrechtlich und ethisch einwandfreie Konzeption solcher Apps bereits im Designprozess f{\"u}hrt zu h{\"o}herer Akzeptanz und verbessert so die Effizienz. It is driven by the need for developing and applying solutions for digital production. Digitization receives constantly increasing attention in many areas, especially in industry. The common theme is to make things smart by using intelligent computer technology. Especially in the last decade there have been many attempts to improve existing processes in factories, for example, in production logistics, also with deploying cyber-physical systems. An initiative that explores challenges and opportunities for robots in such a setting is the RoboCup Logistics League. Since its foundation in 2012 it is an international effort for research and education in an intra-warehouse logistics scenario. During seven years of competition a lot of knowledge and experience regarding autonomous robots was gained. This knowledge and experience shall provide the basis for further research in challenges of future production. The focus of our SMART-FACTORY is to create a stimulating environment for research on logistics robotics, for teaching activities in computer science and electrical engineering programmes as well as for industrial users to study and explore the feasibility of future technologies. Building on a very successful history in the RoboCup Logistics League we aim to provide stakeholders with a dedicated facility oriented at their individual needs.},

  abstract  = {In addition to the technical content, modern courses at university should also teach professional skills to enhance the competencies of students towards their future work. The competency driven approach including technical as well as professional skills makes it necessary to find a suitable way for the integration into the corresponding module in a scalable and flexible manner. Agile development, for example, is essential for the development of modern systems and applications and makes use of dedicated professional skills of the team members, like structured group dynamics and communication, to enable the fast and reliable development. This paper presents an easy to integrate and flexible approach to integrate Scrum, an agile development method, into the lab of an existing module. Due to the different role models of Scrum the students have an individual learning success, gain valuable insight into modern system development and strengthen their communication and organization skills. The approach is implemented and evaluated in the module Vehicle Systems, but it can be transferred easily to other technical courses as well. The evaluation of the implementation considers feedback of all stakeholders, students, supervisor and lecturers, and monitors the observations during project lifetime.},

Aus dieser Vision heraus und dem Schub der Digitalisierung entstehen Bildungskonzepte wie Open Educational Resources (OER), die gesellschaftlichen Problemen, wie dem des Fachkr{\"a}ftemangels, entgegenwirken sollen. Im Rahmen dieses Kurzbeitrags wird das Projekt WiLMo - "Wirtschaftsinformatik Lehr- und Lernmodule" vorgestellt. WiLMo wird im Rahmen von OERContent.nrw unter Beteiligung von sechs Hochschulen entwickelt und gef{\"o}rdert.   abstract  = {This paper outlines a practical approach to teach control engineering principles, with an inverted rotary pendulum, serving as an illustrative example. It shows how the pendulum is embedded in an advanced course of control engineering. This approach is incorporated into a flipped-classroom concept, as well as classical teaching concepts, offering students practical experience in control engineering. In addition, the design of the pendulum is shown, using a Raspberry Pi as the target platform for Matlab Simulink. This pendulum can be used in the classroom to evaluate the controller design mentioned above. It is analysed if the use of the pendulum generates a deeper understanding of the learning contents.},

Industry, and in particular engineers who shape industrial developments, have a special role to play as they are confronted with the responsibility to holistically reflect sustainability in industrial processes. This means that, in addition to the technical specifications, engineers must also question the effects of their own actions on an ecological, economic and social level in order to ensure sustainable action and contribute to the achievement of the SDGs. However, this requires competencies that enable engineers to apply all three pillars of sustainability to their own field of activity and to understand the global impact of industrial processes. In this context, it is relevant to understand how industry already reflects sustainability and to identify competences needed for sustainable development.},

  abstract  = {After a brief introduction of conventional laboratory structures, this work focuses on an innovative and universal approach for a setup of a training laboratory for electric machines and drive systems. The novel approach employs a central 48 V DC bus, which forms the backbone of the structure. Several sets of DC machine, asynchronous machine and synchronous machine are connected to this bus. The advantages of the novel system structure are manifold, both from a didactic and a technical point of view: Student groups can work on their own performance level in a highly parallelized and at the same time individualized way. Additional training setups (similar or different) can easily be added. Only the total power dissipation has to be provided, i.e. the DC bus balances the power flow between the student groups. Comparative results of course evaluations of several cohorts of students are shown.},

  abstract  = {The management of knowledge in organizations considers both established long-term processes and cooperation in agile project teams. Since knowledge can be both tacit and explicit, its transfer from the individual to the organizational knowledge base poses a challenge in organizations. This challenge increases when the fluctuation of knowledge carriers is exceptionally high. Especially in large projects in which external consultants are involved, there is a risk that critical, company-relevant knowledge generated in the project will leave the company with the external knowledge carrier and thus be lost. In this paper, we show the advantages of an early warning system for knowledge management to avoid this loss. In particular, the potential of visual analytics in the context of knowledge management systems is presented and discussed. We present a project for the development of a business-critical software system and discuss the first implementations and results.},
