Two proprietary propeller geometries for paraglider applications are analysed in static and flight conditions. The RANS simulations are validated with the static test data and used as a reference for comparing the BET in flight conditions. The comparison includes the analysis of varying 2D aerodynamic airfoil parameters and different induced velocity calculation methods. The evaluation of the BET propeller simulation tools shows the strength of the BET tools compared to RANS simulations. The RANS simulations underpredict static experimental data within 10\% relative error, while appropriate BET tools overpredict the RANS results by 15-20\% relative error. A variation in 2D aerodynamic data depicts the need for highly accurate 2D data for accurate BET results. The nonlinear BET coupled with XFOIL for the 2D aerodynamic data matches best with RANS in static operation and flight conditions. Using this concept, FEV has developed a new, highly efficient drivetrain to demonstrate fuel consumption reduction and drivability in a vehicle based on the Ford Focus ST. The newly designed 1.8L turbocharged gasoline engine incorporates infinitely variable intake and outlet control timing and direct fuel injection utilizing piezo injectors centrally located. In addition, this engine uses a prototype FEV engine control system, with software that was developed and adapted entirely by FEV. The vehicle features a 160 kW engine with a maximum mean effective pressure of 22.4 bar and 34 \% savings in simulated fuel consumption. During the first stage, a new electrohydraulically actuated hybrid transmission with seven forward gears and one reverse gear and a single dry starting clutch will be integrated. The electric motor of the hybrid is directly connected to the gear set of the transmission. Utilizing the special gear set layout, the electric motor can provide boost during a change of gears, so that there is no interruption in traction. Therefore, the transmission system combines the advantages of a double clutch controlled gear change (gear change without an interruption in traction) with the efficient, cost-effective design of an automated manual transmission system. Additionally, the transmission provides a purely electric drive system and the operation of an air-conditioning compressor during the engine stop phases. One other alternative is through the use of CAI (Controlled Auto Ignition), which incorporates a process developed by FEV for controlled compression ignition.}, language = {en} } @inproceedings{GoettenFinger2019, author = {G{\"o}tten, Falk and Finger, Felix}, title = {Conceptual Design of a Modular 150 kg Vertical Take-off and Landing Unmanned Aerial Vehicle}, series = {Deutscher Luft- und Raumfahrtkongress - DLRK 2019. It will be shown that a tablet and touchscreen based approach is the most suitable solution. In addition, an empirical study will be briefly presented. The study was carried out to examine how an interaction system for a 3D-tablet based CDG has to be designed, to be manageable for non-game experienced employees. Generally masonry infills are considered as nonstructural elements and thus are typically neglected in the design process. However, the observations made after strong earthquakes have shown that masonry infills can modify the dynamic behavior of the structure significantly. The consequences were total collapses of buildings and loss of human lives. This paper presents the new system INODIS (Innovative Decoupled Infill System) developed within the European research project INSYSME (Innovative Systems for Earthquake Resistant Masonry Enclosures in RC Buildings). INODIS decouples the frame and the masonry infill by means of special U-shaped rubbers placed in between frame and infill. The effectiveness of the system was investigated by means of full scale tests on RC frames with masonry infills subjected to in-plane and out-of-plane loading. Furthermore small specimen tests were conducted to determine material characteristics of the components and the resistances of the connections. Finally, a micromodel was developed to simulate the in-plane behavior of RC frames infilled with AAC blocks with and without installation of the INODIS system.}, language = {en} } @inproceedings{Dielmann2002, author = {Dielmann, Klaus-Peter}, title = {Darstellung des Erneuerbaren Energiegesetzes (EEG) und dessen Auswirkungen}, year = {2002}, abstract = {Erneuerbares Energien-Gesetz: Anwendungsbereich, Abnahme- und Verg{\"u}tungspflicht, Verg{\"u}tungss{\"a}tze, Netzkosten, Ausgleichsregelungen Auswirkungen des EEG: Photovoltaik, Windkraft, Biomasse, Wasserkraft, Kl{\"a}r-, Deponie- und Grubengas, Geothermie Zusammenfassung und Ausblick}, subject = {Energierecht}, language = {de} } @inproceedings{Goettsche2008, author = {G{\"o}ttsche, Joachim}, title = {Das Geb{\"a}ude-Armaturenbrett (GAB) - ein hochaufl{\"o}sendes Monitoring-Tool f{\"u}r Verbrauchsdaten in Privathaushalten}, series = {Energieeffizienz + Bestand : energetische Sanierung von Geb{\"a}uden ; internationales Anwenderforum ; 14./15. Rudolf Herzog , Rehm Software Berg / Ravensburg. 9 S. (S. 94-102). Fazit: Bei BFG >20\%, einfache Handhabung, geringer Aufwand. Gegen{\"u}ber der Grenzwertmethode (mittlere Verh{\"a}ltnisse) jedoch etwas h{\"o}here Abfl{\"u}sse. Es ist noch ein weiter Weg bis zur Kl{\"a}ranlage.}, subject = {Entw{\"a}sserung }, language = {de} } @inproceedings{SchmiegelKochDittmeretal.2010, author = {Schmiegel, A. and Koch, K. and Dittmer, M. and Braun, M. and Landau, M. and Dick, C. and Bragard, Michael and [u.a.],}, title = {Das Sol-ion System : ein System zur Optimierung des Eigenverbrauchs von PV-Strom}, series = {Photovoltaische Solarenergie : 25.
