Seitdem dient sie dabei l{\"a}ngst mehr nur als Schutz, sondern ist zu einem wichtigen Kommunikationsmittel geworden. Vor allem Identit{\"a}t spielte schon immer eine wichtige Rolle in ihrer Funktion. Im 15. Jahrhundert entstand die erste Uniform, die durch identische Kleidung Zusammengeh{\"o}rigkeit vermitteln sollte. Dieses Konzept findet heute in der Corporate Fashion, Berufskleidung und zivilen Kontexten Verwendung und vermittelt nebenher Visionen und Philosophien der Corporate Identities. In dieser Arbeit wurde eine tiefgehende Recherche {\"u}ber die Geschichte, Funktion und Wirkung von Uniformen betrieben und Kategorien untersucht, in die sich diese einteilen lassen. Anschließend wurden die Ergebnisse in einem ausgew{\"a}hlten Layout als Buch zusammengefasst und mit Portraits uniformtragender Menschen unterst{\"u}tzt. Abschließend folgt ein Leitfaden, der eine gezielte Gestaltung von Uniformen erm{\"o}glicht.},

  abstract  = {The concept of an injective affine embedding of the quantum states into a set of classical states, i.e., into the set of the probability measures on some measurable space, as well as its relation to statistically complete observables is revisited, and its limitation in view of a classical reformulation of the statistical scheme of quantum mechanics is discussed. In particular, on the basis of a theorem concerning a non-denseness property of a set of coexistent effects, it is shown that an injective classical embedding of the quantum states cannot be supplemented by an at least approximate classical description of the quantum mechanical effects. As an alternative approach, the concept of quasi-probability representations of quantum mechanics is considered.},

  abstract  = {Gr{\"a}ser sind in der Lage, einen großen Teil der f{\"u}r eine biobasierte Wirtschaft ben{\"o}tigten Biomasse zur Verf{\"u}gung zu stellen. Wie bei anderen lignocellulosehaltigen nachwachsenden Rohstoffen erfordert die Verwertung der im Gras enthaltenen Polysaccharide einen mehrstufigen Prozess aus Vorbehandlung, Hydrolyse und Fermentation. In Gr{\"a}sern ist die Hemicellulose mitP henolcarbons{\"a}uren wie Ferula- und p-Coumars{\"a}ure verestert, die die enzymatische Hydrolyse der Cellulose und Hemicellulose ebenso effektiv behindern wie Lignin. Anders als bei holzigen Rohstoffen erm{\"o}glicht dieser Aufbau aber eine enzymatische Vorbehandlung, mit der die Phenolcarbons{\"a}uren abgespalten werden k{\"o}nnen. Da die bei der Vorbehandlung eingesetzten Enzyme in ihrer nat{\"u}rlichen Funktion synergistisch mit cellulytischen Enzymen zusammenarbeiten, besitzen sie {\"a}hnliche Optima wie die f{\"u}r die Hydrolyse der Polysaccharide eingesetzten Cellulasen und Hemicellulasen. Diese Eigenschaft erm{\"o}glicht die Integration von Vorbehandlung und Hydrolyse in einem einzigen Verfahrensschritt. Durch die Einf{\"u}hrung der enzymatischen Vorbehandlung konnte das in der Literatur bekannte SSF-Verfahren f{\"u}r die Herstellung von Ethanol aus Gr{\"a}sern um die Vorbehandlungsstufe erweitert werden. Das so realisierte simultaneous pretreatment, saccharification and fermentation (SPSF)-Verfahren stellt eine vollst{\"a}ndige Integration der drei f{\"u}r die Nutzung von Lignocellulose n{\"o}tigen Verfahrensschritte in der gr{\"u}nen Bioraffinerie dar.},

  abstract  = {In dem vorliegenden Beitrag setzt sich der Verfasser mit dem Urteil des EuGH vom 4.5.2023 (Az.: C-60/22, DSB 2023, 178) zu den Auswirkungen eines formellen Verstoßes des Verantwortlichen gegen die Pflichten aus Artt. 26, 30 DSGVO (juris: EUV 2016/679) auf die Rechtm{\"a}ßigkeit der Datenverarbeitung auseinander. Nachdem zun{\"a}chst der zugrunde liegende Sachverhalt und der Hintergrund des Vorlageverfahrens skizziert wurden, gibt der Verfasser einen {\"U}berblick {\"u}ber die wesentlichen Entscheidungsgr{\"u}nde des EuGH. Insbesondere stelle der EuGH hier fest, dass die Rechtm{\"a}ßigkeit der Verarbeitung in Art. 6 DSGVO geregelt sei und sich eine rechtswidrige Verarbeitung daher nur aus einem Verstoß gegen die Artt. 6 ff. DSGVO ergeben k{\"o}nne; die Pflichten aus Art. 26 und Art. 30 DSGVO w{\"u}rden nicht zu den Gr{\"u}nden f{\"u}r die Rechtm{\"a}ßigkeit der Verarbeitung z{\"a}hlen. Mit Blick auf die Praxis lasse sich, so der Verfasser abschließend, festhalten, dass die Entscheidung insofern nicht {\"u}berraschend sei; jedoch sei die Feststellung, dass sich aus Verst{\"o}ßen gegen Art. 26 und Art. 30 DSGVO kein Verstoß gegen das Grundrecht auf den Schutz personenbezogener Daten nachweisen lasse {\"u}berraschend und bedenklich.   abstract  = {Hydrogen is playing an increasingly important role in research and politics as an energy carrier of the future. Since hydrogen has commonly been produced from methane by steam reforming, the need for climate-friendly, alternative production routes is emerging. In addition to electrolysis, fermentative routes for the production of so-called biohydrogen are "green" alternatives. The application of microorganisms offers the advantage of sustainable production from renewable resources using easily manageable technologies. In this project, the hyperthermophilic, anaerobic microorganism Thermotoga neapolitana is used for the productio nof biohydrogen from renewable resources. The enzymatically hydrolyzed resources were used in fermentation leading to yield coefficients of 1.8 mole H₂ per mole glucose when using hydrolyzed straw and ryegrass supplemented with medium, respectively. These results are similar to the hydrogen yields when using Thermotoga basal medium with glucose (TBGY) as control group. In order to minimize the supplementation of the hydrolysate and thus increase the economic efficiency of the process, the essential media components were identified. The experiments revealed NaCl, KCl, and glucose as essential components for cell growth as well as biohydrogen production. When excluding NaCl, a decrease of 96\% in hydrogen production occured.},

  abstract  = {Learning- and memory-related processes are thought to result from dynamic interactions in large-scale brain networks that include lateral and mesial structures of the temporal lobes. We investigate the impact of incidental and intentional learning of verbal episodic material on functional brain networks that we derive from scalp-EEG recorded continuously from 33 subjects during a neuropsychological test schedule. Analyzing the networks' global statistical properties we observe that intentional but not incidental learning leads to a significantly increased clustering coefficient, and the average shortest path length remains unaffected. Moreover, network modifications correlate with subsequent recall performance: the more pronounced the modifications of the clustering coefficient, the higher the recall performance. Our findings provide novel insights into the relationship between topological aspects of functional brain networks and higher cognitive functions.},

Daf{\"u}r gibt es zus{\"a}tzliche Text- und Info-Impulse als erg{\"a}nzendes Buch zum Roman. Neben diesen Vertiefungsb{\"u}chern gibt es eine Inszenierung des Buches mit Beispielen aus den B{\"u}chern. Die Ausstellung kann Teil eines Messestandes sein oder f{\"u}r sich existieren und bietet einen ersten Kontakt mit der Idee des Projektes und mit den B{\"u}chern selbst. Zus{\"a}tzliches Interesse an der Arbeit wird durch Social Media Posts generiert, die den wichtigen Part des Austauschs und der Diskussion f{\"o}rdern, wozu das Projekt auch anregen m{\"o}chte. „Die Chance der fiktionalen Literatur" regt Leser:innen an, fiktionale Literatur anders zu betrachten und einen gr{\"o}ßeren Nutzen aus der Fiktion zu ziehen.},

  abstract  = {We investigate interaction networks that we derive from multivariate time series with methods frequently employed in diverse scientific fields such as biology, quantitative finance, physics, earth and climate sciences, and the neurosciences. Mimicking experimental situations, we generate time series with finite length and varying frequency content but from independent stochastic processes. Using the correlation coefficient and the maximum cross-correlation, we estimate interdependencies between these time series. With clustering coefficient and average shortest path length, we observe unweighted interaction networks, derived via thresholding the values of interdependence, to possess non-trivial topologies as compared to Erd{\"o}s-R{\´e}nyi networks, which would indicate small-world characteristics. These topologies reflect the mostly unavoidable finiteness of the data, which limits the reliability of typically used estimators of signal interdependence. We propose random networks that are tailored to the way interaction networks are derived from empirical data. Through an exemplary investigation of multichannel electroencephalographic recordings of epileptic seizures - known for their complex spatial and temporal dynamics - we show that such random networks help to distinguish network properties of interdependence structures related to seizure dynamics from those spuriously induced by the applied methods of analysis.},

For this study, recognition of the benefits and performance of local surface Tx/Rx-array structures recently established at 7.0 T inspired migration to 3.0 T, where RF inhomogeneities and SAR limitations encountered in routine clinical CMR, though somewhat reduced versus the 7.0 T situation, remain significant. For all these reasons, this study was designed to build and examine the feasibility of a local four channel Tx/Rx cardiac coil array for anatomical and functional cardiac imaging at 3.0 T.   abstract  = {The simultaneous assessment of glottal dynamics and larynx position can be beneficial for the diagnosis of disordered voice or speech production and swallowing. Up to now, methods either concentrate on assessment of the glottis opening using optical, acoustical or electrical (electroglottography, EGG) methods, or on visualisation of the larynx position using ultrasound, computer tomography or magnetic resonance imaging techniques. The method presented here makes use of a time-multiplex measurement approach of space-resolved transfer impedances through the larynx. The fast sequence of measurements allows a quasi simultaneous assessment of both larynx position and EGG signal using up to 32 transmit-receive signal paths. The system assesses the dynamic opening status of the glottis as well as the vertical and back/forward motion of the larynx. Two electrode-arrays are used for the measurement of the electrical transfer impedance through the neck in different directions. From the acquired data the global and individual conductivity is calculated as well as a 2D point spatial representation of the minimum impedance. The position information is shown together with classical EGG signals allowing a synchronous visual assessment of glottal area and larynx position. A first application to singing voice analysis is presented that indicate a high potential of the method for use as a non-invasive tool in the diagnosis of voice, speech, and swallowing disorders.},

  abstract  = {In this paper we present SMART-FACTORY, a setup for a research and teaching facility in industrial robotics that is based on the RoboCup Logistics League. It is driven by the need for developing and applying solutions for digital production. Digitization receives constantly increasing attention in many areas, especially in industry. The common theme is to make things smart by using intelligent computer technology. Especially in the last decade there have been many attempts to improve existing processes in factories, for example, in production logistics, also with deploying cyber-physical systems. An initiative that explores challenges and opportunities for robots in such a setting is the RoboCup Logistics League. Since its foundation in 2012 it is an international effort for research and education in an intra-warehouse logistics scenario. During seven years of competition a lot of knowledge and experience regarding autonomous robots was gained. This knowledge and experience shall provide the basis for further research in challenges of future production. The focus of our SMART-FACTORY is to create a stimulating environment for research on logistics robotics, for teaching activities in computer science and electrical engineering programmes as well as for industrial users to study and explore the feasibility of future technologies. Building on a very successful history in the RoboCup Logistics League we aim to provide stakeholders with a dedicated facility oriented at their individual needs.},

Here, we assume that the measured far-field data is known at a fixed wave number. Motivated by recent work, we study a new direct sampling indicator based on the Landweber iteration and the factorization method. Therefore, we prove the connection between these reconstruction methods. The method studied here falls under the category of qualitative reconstruction methods where an imaging function is used to recover the absorbing scatterer. We prove stability of our new imaging function as well as derive a discrepancy principle for recovering the regularization parameter. The theoretical results are verified with numerical examples to show how the reconstruction performs by the new Landweber direct sampling method.},

To integrate the HGMS in a fermentation process, it is necessary to optimize the separation matrix with regard to the magnetic separation characteristics and permeability of the non-magnetizable components of the fermentation broth. As part of the work presented here, a combined fluidic and magnetic force finite element model simulation was created using the software COMSOL Multiphysics and compared with separation experiments. Finally, as optimal lattice orientation of the separation matrix, a transversal rhombohedral arrangement was defined. While success factors for non-IT start-ups have already been extensively researched, this study sheds light on digital entrepreneurs, whose business model relies primarily on services based on digital technologies. Applying the Grounded Theory method, we identify relevant environmental success factors for digital entrepreneurs. The study's research contribution is threefold. First, we provide 16 relevant and less relevant environmental success factors, which enables a comparison with prior identified factors. We found out that several prior environmental success factors, such as accessibility to transportation or the availability of land and facilities are less relevant for a digital entrepreneur. Second, we derive and discuss hypotheses for the influence of these factors on digital start-up success. Third, we present a theoretical model that lays the foundation for explaining the environmental influence on digital entrepreneurship success.},
