  abstract  = {Rehabilitative body weight supported gait training aims at restoring walking function as a key element in activities of daily living. Studies demonstrated reductions in muscle and joint forces, while kinematic gait patterns appear to be preserved with up to 30\% weight support. However, the influence of body weight support on muscle architecture, with respect to fascicle and series elastic element behavior is unknown, despite this having potential clinical implications for gait retraining. Eight males (31.9 ± 4.7 years) walked at 75\% of the speed at which they typically transition to running, with 0\% and 30\% body weight support on a lower-body positive pressure treadmill. Gastrocnemius medialis fascicle lengths and pennation angles were measured via ultrasonography. Additionally, joint kinematics were analyzed to determine gastrocnemius medialis muscle-tendon unit lengths, consisting of the muscle's contractile and series elastic elements. Series elastic element length was assessed using a muscle-tendon unit model. Depending on whether data were normally distributed, a paired t-test or Wilcoxon signed rank test was performed to determine if body weight supported walking had any effects on joint kinematics and fascicle-series elastic element behavior. Walking with 30\% body weight support had no statistically significant effect on joint kinematics and peak series elastic element length. Furthermore, at the time when peak series elastic element length was achieved, and on average across the entire stance phase, muscle-tendon unit length, fascicle length, pennation angle, and fascicle velocity were unchanged with respect to body weight support. In accordance with unchanged gait kinematics, preservation of fascicle-series elastic element behavior was observed during walking with 30\% body weight support, which suggests transferability of gait patterns to subsequent unsupported walking.},

Um die verschiedenen funktionalisierten magnetischen Mikropartikel zu analysieren und ihre antimikrobielle Wirkung zu testen, wird der Einsatz einer 3D-gedruckten, magnetischen Plattform f{\"u}r ein Fluoreszenz-basiertes Screening-System untersucht. F{\"u}r den Oberfl{\"a}chenschutz wurden verschiedene, antimikrobiell funktionalisierte Partikelkombinationen mit dem Mikroorganismus Escherichia coli GFPmut2 in Bezug auf aktiven Oberfl{\"a}chenschutz verglichen. Um die antimikrobielle Oberfl{\"a}cheneffekte von synergistischen Kombinationen unterschiedlich funktionalisierter Partikel zu bestimmen, werden Oberfl{\"a}chen einem Magnetfeld ausgesetzt, das die Mikropartikel als definierte Schicht auf ihnen zur{\"u}ck h{\"a}lt. Diese modifizierten Oberfl{\"a}chen k{\"o}nnen sowohl durch Fluoreszenzspektroskopie als auch -mikroskopie analysiert werden.},

  abstract  = {Clearance of blood components and fluid drainage play a crucial role in subarachnoid hemorrhage (SAH) and post hemorrhagic hydrocephalus (PHH). With the involvement of interstitial fluid (ISF) and cerebrospinal fluid (CSF), two pathways for the clearance of fluid and solutes in the brain are proposed. Starting at the level of capillaries, flow of ISF follows along the basement membranes in the walls of cerebral arteries out of the parenchyma to drain into the lymphatics and CSF [1]-[3]. Conversely, it is shown that CSF enters the parenchyma between glial and pial basement membranes of penetrating arteries [4]-[6]. Nevertheless, the involved structures and the contribution of either flow pathway to fluid balance between the subarachnoid space and interstitial space remains controversial. Low frequency oscillations in vascular tone are referred to as vasomotion and corresponding vasomotion waves are modeled as the driving force for flow of ISF out of the parenchyma [7]. Retinal vessel analysis (RVA) allows non-invasive measurement of retinal vessel vasomotion with respect to diameter changes [8]. Thus, the aim of the study is to investigate vasomotion in RVA signals of SAH and PHH patients.},

  abstract  = {Der folgende Bericht fasst Erfahrungen zusammen, die in großen Entwicklungsprojekten der Firma Ericsson {\"u}ber mehrere Jahre gesammelt wurden. Ziel war dabei nicht, agile Methoden und Techniken einzusetzen - Agilit{\"a}t war zu der Zeit noch kein Hype-Thema. Vielmehr wurden Schw{\"a}chen in den eigenen Projekten identifiziert und verbessert. Der Erfahrungsbericht vergleicht Verbesserungen in diesen Projekten mit den Ans{\"a}tzen der agilen Entwicklung. Als Ergebnis werden folgende Punkte festgehalten: Erstens, einige Praktiken und Werte der agilen Entwicklung lassen sich auch in Großprojekten einsetzen. Zweitens, bei der Skalierung f{\"u}r Großprojekte werden diese Praktiken langsamer getaktet. Drittens, agile Entwicklung ist nicht nur eine Reihe von Praktiken und Werten, agile Entwicklung ist vielmehr auch eine Frage der Entwicklungs- und Projektkultur. Diese kulturelle {\"A}nderung l{\"a}sst sich in Großprojekten deutlich langsamer umsetzen.},

  abstract  = {Meitner-Auger-electron emitters have a promising potential for targeted radionuclide therapy of cancer because of their short range and the high linear energy transfer of Meitner-Auger-electrons (MAE). One promising MAE candidate is 197m/gHg with its half-life of 23.8 h and 64.1 h, respectively, and high MAE yield. Gold nanoparticles (AuNPs) that are labelled with 197m/gHg could be a helpful tool for radiation treatment of glioblastoma multiforme when infused into the surgical cavity after resection to prevent recurrence. To produce such AuNPs, 197m/gHg was embedded into pristine AuNPs. Two different syntheses were tested starting from irradiated gold containing trace amounts of 197m/gHg. When sodium citrate was used as reducing agent, no 197m/gHg labelled AuNPs were formed, but with tannic acid, 197m/gHg labeled AuNPs were produced. The method was optimized by neutralizing the pH (pH = 7) of the Au/197m/gHg solution, which led to labelled AuNPs with a size of 12.3 ± 2.0 nm as measured by transmission electron microscopy. The labelled AuNPs had a concentration of 50 μg (gold)/mL with an activity of 151 ± 93 kBq/mL (197gHg, time corrected to the end of bombardment).},

Die Aceton-Butanol-Ethanol-Fermentation (ABE-Fermentation) mit dem anaeroben Bakterium Clostridium acetobutylicum zur Gewinnung von Biobutanol k{\"o}nnte in diesem Zusammenhang eine M{\"o}glichkeit der nachhaltigen Kraftstoffproduktion darstellen. In dieser Arbeit wird der Einfluss zus{\"a}tzlich verf{\"u}gbarer Elektronen durch den Einsatz des Phenazin-Farbstoffs Neutralrot als Redoxmediator sowie das Anlegen eines elektrischen Potenzials w{\"a}hrend der ABE-Fermentation untersucht. Es wird gezeigt, dass das Neutralrot keinen Einfluss auf die Leerlaufspannung von ca. 500 mV vs. Ag/AgCl w{\"a}hrend der Fermentation hat. Der Mediator bewirkt allerdings eine fr{\"u}here Butanolbildung sowie h{\"o}here Butanolkonzentrationen. Wird zudem die Mediatorkonzentration von 125 mM auf 250 mM angehoben, wird dabei auch die maximale Butanolkonzentration um 36 \% ± 1,8 \% innerhalb von28 Stunden gesteigert.},

  abstract  = {Recently, we introduced and mathematically analysed a new method for grid deformation (Grajewski et al., 2009) [15] we call basic deformation method (BDM) here. It generalises the method proposed by Liao et al. (Bochev et al., 1996; Cai et al., 2004; Liao and Anderson, 1992) [4], [6], [20]. In this article, we employ the BDM as core of a new multilevel deformation method (MDM) which leads to vast improvements regarding robustness, accuracy and speed. We achieve this by splitting up the deformation process in a sequence of easier subproblems and by exploiting grid hierarchy. Being of optimal asymptotic complexity, we experience speed-ups up to a factor of 15 in our test cases compared to the BDM. This gives our MDM the potential for tackling large grids and time-dependent problems, where possibly the grid must be dynamically deformed once per time step according to the user's needs. Moreover, we elaborate on implementational aspects, in particular efficient grid searching, which is a key ingredient of the BDM.},

Vor allem Identit{\"a}t spielte schon immer eine wichtige Rolle in ihrer Funktion. Im 15. Jahrhundert entstand die erste Uniform, die durch identische Kleidung Zusammengeh{\"o}rigkeit vermitteln sollte. Dieses Konzept findet heute in der Corporate Fashion, Berufskleidung und zivilen Kontexten Verwendung und vermittelt nebenher Visionen und Philosophien der Corporate Identities. In dieser Arbeit wurde eine tiefgehende Recherche {\"u}ber die Geschichte, Funktion und Wirkung von Uniformen betrieben und Kategorien untersucht, in die sich diese einteilen lassen. Anschließend wurden die Ergebnisse in einem ausgew{\"a}hlten Layout als Buch zusammengefasst und mit Portraits uniformtragender Menschen unterst{\"u}tzt. Wie bei anderen lignocellulosehaltigen nachwachsenden Rohstoffen erfordert die Verwertung der im Gras enthaltenen Polysaccharide einen mehrstufigen Prozess aus Vorbehandlung, Hydrolyse und Fermentation. In Gr{\"a}sern ist die Hemicellulose mitP henolcarbons{\"a}uren wie Ferula- und p-Coumars{\"a}ure verestert, die die enzymatische Hydrolyse der Cellulose und Hemicellulose ebenso effektiv behindern wie Lignin. Anders als bei holzigen Rohstoffen erm{\"o}glicht dieser Aufbau aber eine enzymatische Vorbehandlung, mit der die Phenolcarbons{\"a}uren abgespalten werden k{\"o}nnen. Da die bei der Vorbehandlung eingesetzten Enzyme in ihrer nat{\"u}rlichen Funktion synergistisch mit cellulytischen Enzymen zusammenarbeiten, besitzen sie {\"a}hnliche Optima wie die f{\"u}r die Hydrolyse der Polysaccharide eingesetzten Cellulasen und Hemicellulasen. Diese Eigenschaft erm{\"o}glicht die Integration von Vorbehandlung und Hydrolyse in einem einzigen Verfahrensschritt. Durch die Einf{\"u}hrung der enzymatischen Vorbehandlung konnte das in der Literatur bekannte SSF-Verfahren f{\"u}r die Herstellung von Ethanol aus Gr{\"a}sern um die Vorbehandlungsstufe erweitert werden. Das so realisierte simultaneous pretreatment, saccharification and fermentation (SPSF)-Verfahren stellt eine vollst{\"a}ndige Integration der drei f{\"u}r die Nutzung von Lignocellulose n{\"o}tigen Verfahrensschritte in der gr{\"u}nen Bioraffinerie dar.},

Nachdem zun{\"a}chst der zugrunde liegende Sachverhalt und der Hintergrund des Vorlageverfahrens skizziert wurden, gibt der Verfasser einen {\"U}berblick {\"u}ber die wesentlichen Entscheidungsgr{\"u}nde des EuGH. Insbesondere stelle der EuGH hier fest, dass die Rechtm{\"a}ßigkeit der Verarbeitung in Art. 6 DSGVO geregelt sei und sich eine rechtswidrige Verarbeitung daher nur aus einem Verstoß gegen die Artt. 6 ff. DSGVO ergeben k{\"o}nne; die Pflichten aus Art. 26 und Art. 30 DSGVO w{\"u}rden nicht zu den Gr{\"u}nden f{\"u}r die Rechtm{\"a}ßigkeit der Verarbeitung z{\"a}hlen.   abstract  = {Learning- and memory-related processes are thought to result from dynamic interactions in large-scale brain networks that include lateral and mesial structures of the temporal lobes. We investigate the impact of incidental and intentional learning of verbal episodic material on functional brain networks that we derive from scalp-EEG recorded continuously from 33 subjects during a neuropsychological test schedule. Analyzing the networks' global statistical properties we observe that intentional but not incidental learning leads to a significantly increased clustering coefficient, and the average shortest path length remains unaffected. Moreover, network modifications correlate with subsequent recall performance: the more pronounced the modifications of the clustering coefficient, the higher the recall performance. Our findings provide novel insights into the relationship between topological aspects of functional brain networks and higher cognitive functions.},
